It is highly lauded, and its focus is on the hope of the Christian gospel, ministered through song. The choir was organized in the early 1970s, but did not record its first album until 1981. The choir Director is Carol Cymbala. Carol is the daughter of the late Church founder Rev. Clair Hutchins. Carol did not know how to read music when she started the choir. Nonetheless, she wrote songs that are enjoyed throughout the world. Today the Choir is one the biggest inter-racial choirs in America.
