I didn’t become fully involved with music until we had our first music director, Shannon Harris. He was perfect for our church. I never knew there was such a thing as being a full time music minister. My father was a preacher—so, I thought that was what God wanted me to be. And then, it happened----one day at the altar, God said “I have called you to preach---but I have called you to preach through music.” Ever since that day I went head first into music. When you hear God's voice and He gives you direction, it takes away the confusion and doubt! That is the reason I have worked so hard on releasing an album!
I am on an exciting journey right now. I used to be negative about EVERYthing. Thinking I wasn’t good enough…you know…all that stuff we tell ourselves. But, God has been stripping all that away for a while now, and He is taking me to a new place in Him. I am surrendering to the Almighty’s blueprint. I want to live out my intended purpose! But, I have learned I can’t get there by myself! I have tremendous family and friends who have been there for me! When I felt like giving up on my dream, they were there pushing me forward!
I am so pumped about REALITY, and I feel with all my heart that it is going to encourage and strengthen people’s faith in God and themselves.
This is just a little bit about me…I hope you enjoyed it.
Words
Bryan Pound Lyrics

Cover or reveal, the choice is yours
Make this world a better place
For words can bring death or life
Peace or strife
We're all responsible for what we say
So don't tear your brother down
We're all in God's family
Speak the words of life
Speak the words of life into their soul
Words can be merciful or unkind
True or full of lies, the choice is yours
Make this world a better place
For words can encourage or bring low
Advise or fool the soul
We're all responsible for what we say
What's the first thing you do
After you've heard the news
That someone has fallen
Do you drop to your knees, pray for mercy
Or do you start talking
How do you feel, does it build your esteem
Knowing someone else bites the dust
But You're still standing
What you've got to know
Is that you reap what you sow
The tides will turn, and soon you'll learn
In Bryan Pound's song "Words," the lyrics convey a message of responsibility for the words we choose to use. The song discusses how words can either help or harm others, bring peace or cause chaos, and either build someone up or tear them down. The song encourages people to use their words in a positive manner to make the world a better place. The lyrics also speak to the idea that each individual is accountable for the impact their words have on others.
The song highlights that people should not use their words to harm others or make them feel bad about themselves. Rather, individuals should use their speech to encourage and uplift others. If someone falls or struggles, instead of talking about them negatively, we must help them and pray for them. The underlying message is that the world can be a beautiful place if people use their words positively.
