His first influences were Papa San, then Bounty Killer, Elephant Man and Vybz Kartel.
"Hard work overcomes all difficulties. Put God first and jus' put out good music."
I got started in music at a tender age, it was from primary school but never took it serious until 2000 when I met Elephant man. I was introduced to him by a producer who was doing a production at the time and wanted me to write the song for him. After writing that song we become friends so I started going to the studio more often, I also did a song with him [Mentally ill] but I actually spent most of time writing for him.
I got my musical exposure touring with Ele; at first I start traveling to the caribbean because of course i didn't have a work permit, but that didn't take long for me to get so I travelled to the United States where I made an appearance on 106 and Park and also Bet Awards where I met a lot of intresting people like Janet Jackson, Pharell, Missy Elliot and the list goes on. I also went to Canada and Japan where I went on the Mtv awards. During this time I was also doing a few collaborations with Tornado, another local artist, songs included Soldering and Modella.
After five years I decided that I wanted to go on my own so I can actually persue my career. I stop travelling with Elephant man and decided to do my own thing. I started working on my own projects such as Meditation and Journeys.
At present I am working with Daseca, a production trio that is deeply interested in my music and started to produce a couple of exclusive tracks for me. I recently shot a video for my new single "What I'm gonna do" which was also directed by Julia Braham. Keep an eye out for Bugle.

Exercise everyday and I'm still not fit
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
What would you do?
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
This is what I'm gonna do you all
Is just another day in the struggle
All I see is zinc fence and puddle
Life for me this ain't no fun
The only thing I can depend pon is my gun
I really don't wanna rob Mr.Chung
But, survival a di key inna di slum
If you're not a bees you might get stung
Please don't ask me how come
We do what we do an we sell what we sell
And we con who we con, whole heap a lie tell
We rise an we fell in this place where we dwell
Don't think it's all well, it's on earth but it's hell
A place where you can identify by the smell
White collar criminal trick us with their fist an bell
A place where, babies are having babies
This mothering Fuckin' place is crazy
Exercise everyday and I'm still not fit
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
What would you do?
Exercise everyday and I'm still not fit
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
This is what I'm gonna do
One room fill with kids
Would have thought it's a bunch of Bratys
But we ain't white so you know it's all shady
Dinner tonight maybe
Same routine chicken back gravy
Who would have thought in the year 2007 we'd still
Be living in slavery
They give us no alternative telling us to take heed
When you got to pay even for the fuckin' air you
Breathe
Sometimes I wonder if my blood is different from the
Blood that has bleed
Oh shit, my life is filled with so much pain and grief
I've got ten brothers and sisters and mom still a
Conceive
When our last siblings don't even start teethe
Dad try to make two ends meet the cops take his
Weed
I wish you know how much I gotta go, I gotta leave
I can't breathe, no roses growing
Even though I sow the seed, I gotta leave, I gotta
Leave
Yea, yea, I really gotta leave
Exercise everyday and I'm still not fit
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
What would you do?
Exercise everyday and I'm still not fit
My kids are hungry and I ain't got shit
What I'm gonna do? What I'm gonna do? what I'm
Gonna do?
This is what I'm gonna do
Bugle's song "What We Gonna Do" serves as an illustration of what life is like in the Jamaican slums, or "ghetto." The lyrics speak of the daily struggles that individuals in these areas face, including poverty, hunger, and the need to survive. It is often difficult for them to find work and opportunities for success, which leads them to engage in illegal activities.
The first verse highlights the irony of exercising every day and still not being fit. This could be due to a lack of proper nutrition, as the artist mentions that his kids are hungry and he cannot provide for them. He questions what he can do in this situation and asks the listener to consider what they would do as well. The second verse paints a vivid picture of the ghetto, describing it as a place where life is anything but enjoyable. The only thing one can depend on is their weapon, which is a sad reality for many.
The third verse reveals the desperation individuals in the ghetto feel. The artist depicts a family living in a single room with numerous children. The only food they have is the same routine meal of chicken with gravy. In 2007, when the song was released, the artist is still living in "slavery"; he has no options or opportunities. What makes it worse is that even the air they breathe must be paid for. He wonders if his blood is different from the blood of those who have had more opportunities to succeed.
The chorus is a reflection of the artist's reality, and the reality of many others living in the ghetto. Despite exercising daily, the artist is still not fit. His kids are hungry, and he has nothing to offer them. He questions what he can do and asks the listener to consider what they would do in his situation.
