"Hard work overcomes all difficulties. Put God first and jus' put out good music."
I got started in music at a tender age, it was from primary school but never took it serious until 2000 when I met Elephant man. I was introduced to him by a producer who was doing a production at the time and wanted me to write the song for him. After writing that song we become friends so I started going to the studio more often, I also did a song with him [Mentally ill] but I actually spent most of time writing for him.
I got my musical exposure touring with Ele; at first I start traveling to the caribbean because of course i didn't have a work permit, but that didn't take long for me to get so I travelled to the United States where I made an appearance on 106 and Park and also Bet Awards where I met a lot of intresting people like Janet Jackson, Pharell, Missy Elliot and the list goes on. I also went to Canada and Japan where I went on the Mtv awards. During this time I was also doing a few collaborations with Tornado, another local artist, songs included Soldering and Modella.
After five years I decided that I wanted to go on my own so I can actually persue my career. I stop travelling with Elephant man and decided to do my own thing. I started working on my own projects such as Meditation and Journeys.
At present I am working with Daseca, a production trio that is deeply interested in my music and started to produce a couple of exclusive tracks for me. I recently shot a video for my new single "What I'm gonna do" which was also directed by Julia Braham. Keep an eye out for Bugle.
Blessed love,

The lyrics of Bugle's song "Music" are a tribute to both music and the special woman in his life. The song starts with Bugle claiming his loyalty to his girl, stating that he doesn't want anyone to criticize her as she means everything to him. He then turns his attention to music, emphasizing how it's his pride and joy, and how he can't imagine life without it. He believes that without music, everyone would be in a state of unhappiness. In the second verse, he describes his girl as his wife, pride, and joy. He appreciates all the things she has given him, including financial stability, opportunities to travel the world, and brand new experiences.
Bugle tells a story of how his girl has changed his life in many ways - both big and small. She has helped him break his bad habits, supported him through his musical journey, and embraced his music as a passionate part of his life. He is grateful for having her in his life and vows never to part from her. In the end, the song comes back to celebrating music and how it has been an integral part of his life, and without it, he and everyone else would be unhappy.
Overall, the song is a beautiful tribute to both music and the importance of the special women in our lives. It is a reminder that no matter how far you go in life, it's essential to remember who has been there for you through thick and thin.

revéille proper:
I can't get 'em up, I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up this morning;
I can't get 'em up, I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up at all.
The corporal's worse than the private,
The sergeant's worse than the corporal,
The lieutenant's worse than the sergeant,
But the captain's worst of all.
Oh, I can't get 'em up, I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up in the morning;
I can't get 'em up, I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up at all.

Very nice. Reminiscent of my youth growing up on Fort Bragg, reville in the morning, to raise the colors, evening call to lower them. All the cars stopped ,everyone got out, soldiers and Boy Scouts saluted, others placed their right hand over their heart. Taps at my Father's funeral. Still feel the chills.

Reminds me of my father's military funeral.

I find bugle calls fascinating. I didn't know there were so many calls other than Reveille, Call To The Post, and Taps. I played trombone in the high school marching band, and a trumpet player let me try his trumpet and explained to me that you can do bugle calls on any brass instrument if you know how to play any other, because a trumpet in open position works just like a trombone in 1st position, which gives you the notes you need for bugle calls.
Ed Darby
Yes, but these were about half the bugle calls we used. There are at least a dozen more including To the Colors, Call to CQ, Sick Call, Mess Call, Tattoo, Fatigue, Swim Call and Fire Call.

@Ed Darby Some of the calls you mentioned are featured in other videos. I didn't know there was a swim or fire call. Now that I think about it, I remember in one summer camp I attended, someone did "To The Colors" when raising the flag at an assembly, and did Taps at bedtime, and they could have done Mess for meals or Swim when we had free swim period.

A good book is "the last post" written by Alwyn W. Turner. It's a full history of bugle, a communications device, terrorise the enemy, a really interesting history

Besides the standard dozen or so bugle calls required for the Boy Scout Merit Badge, over the years I collected many more; a few British calls (Stand To, Last Post, couple more) General Quarters/Battle stations (for Marines aboard ship) and a few odd U S Army calls (Stable call, for instance): But my pride and joy was The General's March. SO, at one time in my life, I could sound about thrity-six (36) calls - and fairly well at that. Long ago and far away, now.

@Daniel Beggan Thanks Daniel....I'll look for it.

Really nice clear post, thanks! Great tone quality but untrue to the quality of most bugles. Could you make a recording showing some of the keys (often odd ball) and tone qualities of bugles (old to modern); My favorite bugle meets a U.S. Government bid requirement for bugles purchased between 1862 to 1877 (I believe) and plays in a key similar to our present Eb. Some of these bugles sound like a piece of garden hose and some are remarkably good. Also in the old west (Texas , Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona etc. Cavalry Buglers sometimes sometimes played a smaller pitched horn (higher pitch) as a "recall" bugle. Always feed the horses after playing a few high pitches. If the horses got loose or were stolen they could often be recalled with high pitches = lunch. Thanks again.
