Burn defeated born from war
We worship gods and machines
No man to rule
Here to see
This is who we are
Born from pain and war
This is not what is seems
Watch out, you′re here to believe
When all you've learnt so far is how to fear
How it is a constant to seem
And with the power to put him to sleep
Bless him
Hate him
All the ends are the same
What have you done with my life, I have changed
How could I receive or redeem
When I′ve been chasing demons much bigger than me
Now your time has come my friend
You will not depend
Full of this regret
Now they're here for you again
This will be the end
We are lost to death
This is who we are
Born from pain and war
We see gods and machines
This is not what it seems
What if I told you there could be a way
We could change this whole world in a day
With every strength
We turn the machine
Free of me
And end the dream
Attach the wires
We could see
Switch the power
Rescue me
Give it a chance
There's only this
Return the future
Destroy the past
Now your time has come my friend
You will not depend
Full of this regret
Now they′re here for you again
This will be the end
We are lost to death
Unholy
Unloved
Raised in the world
Baptized in blood
Unholy
Unloved
Raised in the world
Baptized in blood
Return to us
Escape the flood
May the world baptize in blood
Return to us
Escape the flood
Destroy machines
Fear no god
Now your time has come my friend
You will not will not depend
Full of this regret
Now they′re here for you again
This will be the end
We are lost to death
(We are lost to death)

The song "Gods & Machines" by Bury Tomorrow is about humanity's obsession with technology and how it affects our lives. The lyrics speak about how we've become slaves to our creations and have forgotten our true selves. The first verse mentions that suffering is all we are, and that we are born from war. The chorus speaks about how we worship gods and machines and how this is not what it seems. The second verse talks about how we've been taught to fear and that we're here to believe. It also mentions that all the ends are the same, whether we bless or hate something.
The bridge of the song offers a glimmer of hope, with the idea that we could change the world in a day if we turn our strength towards changing the machines that have taken over our lives. The final verse repeats the idea that we are lost to death and how we're baptized in blood. The end of the song offers a call to action, asking us to destroy the machines and not fear any god.
Overall, the song speaks to our reliance on technology and how it has consumed us. It offers a warning and a call to action, to take control of our lives and not be ruled by machines.

Lyrics:
Suffering is who we are
Bred to pain and born from war We worship Gods and Machines No man to rule, land obscene.
This is who we are
Born from pain and war
We see Gods and Machines This is not what it seems.
My child you're here to believe
When all you've learnt so far is how to fear Holy is a construct you see
Made by the power to fool and deceive
Blaspheme and maim
I was an angel the same, worth is determined by lives I have changed How can I receive or redeem
when Ive been chasing demons much bigger than me
Now, your time has come my friend You will not depend
Full of this regret
Now, they’re here for you again This will be the end
We are lost to death
What if I told you there could be a way We can change this whole world in a day Relinquish faith, Return the machine Free your mind, again to dream Attached to wires, we can’t see
Switch the power, rescue me
Given a chance is all we ask
Reset the future, destroy the past
Unholy, unloved, in the wild, baptised in blood
Return to us, escape the flood, in the wild, baptised in blood Return to us, escape the flood, destroy machines, fear no god
