In 1999, during their final high school year, the group represented the Kansai region in the All Japan Final of the 'Teen Music Festival'. They won the 'Encouragement Award' and were given the chance to record a demo, and have it distrubuted by a major label.
The demo was released February 11, 2001, and had the songs "FULL MOON PRAYER" and "Angel" on it. It sold well enough for them to sign a stronger contract and release more music.
After releasing nine singles, five albums, and one best compilation, the members of CORE OF SOUL decided to disband.
After an Asia-wide tour, the group official ceased on March 24, 2006.
Nakamura Fukiko is currently releasing her solo works under the name "LOVE".

Kutsushita ni ana wo akete iru
Sono ana kara sekai wo mite wa
Ibasho wo sagashitsudzukete iru
Isu ni suwatte iru hitotachi ni
Katenai ge-mu to iwaretemo
Arukitsudzukeru koto de kimi wa
You have a hole in your socks
You have a hole in your heart
You have dropped so much love
You are struggling
Struggling to get it all back
Aa kimi wa ikite yuku tame ni
Toki ni jibun wo itsuwattari shita
Minna ni kanchigai sareru kara
Jibun de jibun wo utagai mo shita
Aa kimi no kodoku ya yorokobi ga
Sono mama id ni nareba ii noni
Bokura no pasupo-to ni wa itsumo
Daiji na koto ga kakarete'nai ne
Dare to mo chigau mono ga
Karadajuu ni nagareteru
Aa bokura wa jiyuu na hazu sa
Aa kimi wa
Aa kimi wa
Doko made mo yukeru
You are the only, only you
You are the only, only you
Sekai ni hitori shika inai
Aa kimi wa
Aa kimi wa
Boku to onaji
Dare to mo chigau mono ga
Karadajuu ni nagareteru
Aa bokura wa jiyuu na hazu sa
Aa kimi wa
Aa kimi wa
Boku to onaji
Doko made mo yukeru
