The duo had a major hit in 1990 with "I Wanna Be Rich."

It is very much worth noting that Calloway's "one-hit" wonder status only came after they had been members and music producers of the very successful 1980's soul ensemble, Midnight Star. Their hits with Midnight Star are numerous including NO PARKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR and HEADLINES, to name only two. The group Midnight Star had several gold and platinum albums during the 80's.

After the duo's recording career dried up, they became successful record producers.
