1) capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, 'Sakura'. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, Contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as "an accessory to fashion", and the band's music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan.

Paradise
Secret Paradise
Secret Paradise
Paradise
Secret Paradise
Every Night
Secret Paradise
Paradise
Secret Paradise
Every Night
Secret Paradise
The lyrics to Capsule's "Secret Paradise" evoke a bittersweet feeling of longing for a perfect, hidden place. In the opening lines, the singer describes a jet shadow and a figure reaching towards the sun. The imagery of the breaking earth creates a sense of urgency and desperation. The chorus repeats the phrase "our paradise, the last paradise," emphasizing the preciousness and rarity of this hidden gem. The singer pleads for their secret paradise to be left undisturbed and bids farewell to the everyday world they are leaving behind.
The second verse introduces a floating airship and a figure once again reaching towards the sun. The trembling heart suggests a fear of losing something important. The final chorus repeats the same melancholy tone, emphasizing the unique nature of this paradise and how it must be protected.
Overall, the song creates a sense of yearning for a perfect world that is hard to reach and maintain. The ambiguous nature of the "secret paradise" can be interpreted in many ways, whether it be a physical space or a more abstract concept like a state of mind.
