1) capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, 'Sakura'. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, Contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as "an accessory to fashion", and the band's music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan.
2) Capsule is a hardcore band from Miami Beach. Started in 2004 by Eric Hernandez & Colin Smith, the band tours the United States frequently. They released a couple records on Dippy Records and in 2008, Robotic Empire released the critically acclaimed “Blue” on 12” vinyl and CD.

Capsule Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Capsule's song "Runway" is a fast-paced, upbeat electronic dance track that speaks about the rush and adrenaline that comes with standing on the runway, ready to take off. The lyrics make use of a lot of metaphors and imagery to convey the feelings of excitement and anticipation that one feels when they are about to embark on a journey. The first verse talks about the "strobe light" and the "neon sky," referencing the bright lights and colors that define the runway. The second verse talks about "breaking free," "touching down," and "siren calls," all of which can be seen as symbolic of the process of leaving behind one's old life and starting something new.
The overall theme of the song is the concept of travel and movement. The lyrics seem to suggest that there is a certain allure to being in transit, to being neither here nor there, and always moving forward. The song encourages listeners to embrace this sense of adventure and to never be afraid to take risks and explore.
