Hada
Carlos Ann Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Tú...
¿dónde vas?
¿con quién vas?
Otro Sábado... qué rutina.
Salir y bailar.
¿Dime qué hay?
Detrás de esa bella sonrisa.
Vuelves a casa cansada, dejada.
Te miras y... ¿dónde estás?
Duermes despierta, drogada.
Angustiada, mi hada.
¿Por qué te vas?

Sí, inténtalo, déjalo.
Ya no...
Ya no eres una niña.

Rayas, pastillas, bebida.
Rompe los lazos que te ahogan

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Carlos Ann's song "Hada" tell a story of a girl who seems to be trapped in a mundane routine of going out, dancing and partying every Saturday night. The lyrics suggest that despite the beautiful smile on her face, there is something else behind it. The singer of the song is questioning where she goes and who she is with, as they express concern and worry for her safety. The girl comes home tired, looking in the mirror and experiencing a disconnection with herself asking, "where are you?" The lyrics reveal that she is using drugs and feeling trapped, as if in a dark room. The singer of the song, who is addressing her as "mi hada" (my fairy), asks why she is going down this path.

As the song progresses, the lyrics switch to a more forceful tone as if the singer is urging her to change her ways. The lyrics suggest that the girl in the song is no longer a child, and she needs to let go of the things that weigh her down. "Rayas, pastillas, bebida" (Lines, pills, drinks) shows that she is caught up in a life of drugs, and the singer is telling her to break the chains and become free. The words suggest that she needs to find a way to get out of this dark room and break away from the addiction.

In conclusion, the song "Hada" is a poignant portrayal of the struggles of addiction and feeling trapped. The singer of the song is trying to reach out to the girl in the lyrics and help her break free from the cycle of addiction and pain. It's a heartbreaking song that tells a story of innocence lost and a plea for salvation.
