On my opinion there’s a good reason for that. It’s that that kind of bone structure is actually very characteristic of sopranos because having high cheek bones and a sort of square jaw creates a lot of space for resonance, which allows for really high notes. I, myself, am a soprano and I have that kind of constitution. It’s not a rule, but generally that happens

Judging by here mannerisms and the particular notes she emphasizes on, I feel like she used Laurel Harris's Elphaba for inspiration. I think she is the current Elphaba standby right now, so it makes sense. It just gives me that vibe since I saw Laurel's performance (which was phenomenal).

I like this more modern take on Elphaba! Her voice definitely fits the character while still adding those slight modern-pop nuances. But not so much so that it completely takes away from the music or character. Nice!

The textures and patterns of her voice are honestly just SO gorgeous and unique. When she sang the line "...so be it then" the ending of that line was just so raw! It showed the humanity of Elphaba's character! I love how she embodies the anger and frustration of Elphaba in this song while still being able to show the determination and heartbreak! Applaud her sense of pitch. Too many Elphabas I’ve heard don’t know how to correct themselves when they’re out of tune, but Corneau does it perfectly. One might argue that the notes are high and hard to hit anyway, but other Elphabas have trouble even getting their low notes right.

@Camara I think people give Idina a really hard time because A LOT of people praise her as this amazing singer while ignoring actually great singers right next to her. At least I find that very annoying. Also you will find people giving excuses for her bad singing on every live performance which is also annoying.

I think Hannah’s take on No Good Deed is the only one that compete with Jessica Vosk’s, which is my personal favourite. There’s just something about the way they both sing it that makes it stand out as my absolute favourite number in all of Wicked
