You're constantly running away from your own problems, but you can't escape the fact that you are the source of them.

I know it's hard but you've been there before and you know you're gonna be there again.

I don't care what the stars may say because they always feed their bullshit to me.
Don't listen to the advice of others, even if they seem like they have all the answers. Trust yourself instead.

It's kinda sad how you lost what you had and you're never gonna have it again and so I say:
It's unfortunate that you've lost something important to you and you can't get it back. But it's time to move on.

Every other day you don't care what they say because they always leave you two steps behind.
You ignore the opinions of others because they rarely lead you in the right direction. You end up falling behind when you follow their advice.

You try to smile and it lasts for a while but they always send you back to the start.
You put on a brave face and try to move forward, but setbacks keep taking you back to square one.

Eenie meenie miney mo they shoot down everyone you know and then they leave you there all alone.
It feels like everyone you know gets taken down, leaving you feeling isolated and alone.

You wish they'd stop but they never give up and you know deep inside that you're stuck and so I say:
You want the negativity to end, but it seems like it never will. You feel trapped and need someone to help you get out.

Sergio laughed for the last time today, He said â??It never really bothered me: we all have dues to pay
Sergio faced his own challenges and accepted that everyone has their own obstacles to overcome. He laughed it off and moved on.

Like a man that's cut off at the knee, he hobbles and hobbles because nothing is free.
Sergio is struggling because nothing comes easy - he's metaphorically handicapped and has to work twice as hard to get anywhere.

So wake up, wake up, wake up but don't cry because you'll fuck up your make up and if you do, you won't get laid, you won't make money, no you won't get paid.
Wake up and face reality, but don't let it bring you down. If you do, it'll negatively affect your life in various ways.

So you act so free, you act so free, everybody's happy because you act so free.
You put on a front of being carefree, and others are happy to see it because it brings joy to them as well.

Well you might fool them, but you can't fool me with your mindless chatter like â??I don't need them, I don't need helpâ?? I don't even need to see the end.
You can trick others into thinking you don't need help, but it doesn't change the fact that you have issues to address. You don't even need a resolution yet, just start with admitting you can't do it alone.

Hey Sergio, it's getting kind of hot in here
As the song goes on, the need to escape from the current situation becomes more pressing.

And so I say: Hey Sergio, you gotta' to get us out of here
The singer directly addresses Sergio, urging him to help himself and everyone else in the process.

And so I say: Hey Sergio, you gotta' to get us out of here
The message is reiterated - the only solution is for Sergio to take action and lead the way towards a better situation.
