Love Is All
Chantal Kreviazuk Lyrics

What you're leaving behind
I'm not so sure that
I really want to find out
You don't necessarily
Have plenty of time
You can say it now
For the rest of your life
Love is all you need to live
Then love is all I've got to give
And I give it all
I don't know
What was wrong with my mind
I walked around like
I had a force inside and on my heart
Now I feel like
I got plenty of time
Cause I'm safe from the pain
For the rest of my life
Love is all you need to live
Then love is all I've got to give
And I give it all
You can say that for the rest of your life
Love is all you need to live
Then love is all i've got to give
And I give it all
You said it
Love is all you need to live
Then love is all I've got to give
And I give it all
The song "Love Is All" by Chantal Kreviazuk is an emotional exploration of love, time and pain. Through the lyrics, the artist expresses the idea that love is the most important thing in life, and it's worth sacrificing everything for it. The first verse talks about not knowing what someone is leaving behind and not being sure if they want to find out. The artist highlights the fact that time is limited, and it's better to say what's in your heart now instead of waiting. The chorus emphasizes the central theme of the song, that love is all you need to live and it's all the artist has to give.
The second verse shifts to the artist's perspective and how she used to carry a force inside her mind and heart. The lyrics show that the artist has come to the realization that time is precious and that she is ready to let go of the pain and move on. The final chorus reaffirms the message that love is all you need, and the artist gives all of herself to it. The song ends with the phrase "you said it", which can be interpreted as a nod to the person who inspired the message or as a positive affirmation of the idea that love is all.
