I Still Do
Chet Atkins Lyrics
Out my door the leaves are falling a cold wild wind will come
Sweethearts walk by together and I still miss someone
I go out to a party to look for a little fun
But I find a darkened corner cause I still miss someone
Though I never got over those blue eyes I see them everywehere
I miss those arms that held me when all the love was there
[ guitar ]
I wonder if he's sorry for leaving what we had begun
There's someone for me somewhere and I still miss someone
Though I never got over...
And I wonder if he's sorry...

I grew up on Chet Atkins first time ever heard him singing other than a couple lines here and there . Notice it's 1996 on this and he's still playing clean channel plugged into little his Gibson amp no pre mixing and blending or pedels or auto tone. It does look like the amp is miked up for extra board but pretty straightforward bare Bones. Really just so shows you what skill can do
Bev Earle
