Karma
Chris Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Ow
So recently I've been doing a lot of soul searching and
I think I've figured it out
So
Listen
I don't got time
To be sitting here feeling sad
I don't got time
To be dwelling on what you said
Cause I'm gone make my dreams come true
Don't really give a fuck when it comes to you
Watch yo mouth, And what you do
Cause you'll regret it
Mmm
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back
It's hard to not give up and move on
They hate to see you winning getting yo groove on
Just know you getting closer and bigger just like Sean
So strap on yo shoes run that race till you've won
I don't know why people hate so much
But I know my futures bright like the sun
I don't got time
To be sitting here feeling sad
I don't got time
To be dwelling on what you said
Cause I'm gone make my dreams come true
Don't really give a fuck when it comes to you
Watch yo mouth, And what you do
Cause you'll regret it
Mmmm
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back
So I know this is the part where I'm supposed to be
Incredibly inspiring
And tell you to just ignore these people
Wrong
Next time someone tries to doubt your dreams
And tell you you can't do it
Just give them a big ole middle finger
And tell them Chris sent you
Okay
Let's go!
I don't got time
To be sitting here feeling sad
I don't got time
To be dwelling on what you said
Cause I'm gone make my dreams come true
Don't really give fuck a when it comes to you
Watch yo mouth, And what you do
Cause you'll regret it
Mmmm
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you

When Karma gets back to you
When Karma gets back to you

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Chris Pierce's song KARMA are about resilience and determination. Pierce asserts that he doesn't have time to dwell on negative emotions or people who doubt his dreams because he's focused on making them come true. He warns those who try to bring him down that karma will catch up to them eventually. The song encourages listeners to stay true to their goals in the face of adversity and to live their lives without worrying about the opinions of others.

In the first verse, Pierce sings about his recent "soul-searching" and how he's realized that he doesn't have time to feel sad or dwell on negative comments. He's laser-focused on making his dreams a reality and doesn't care what others think. The chorus reinforces this idea, with Pierce emphasizing that karma will ultimately catch up to those who try to hold him back.

The second verse expands on this theme, with Pierce acknowledging that it can be hard to stay motivated when faced with negativity from others. He urges listeners to stay the course, knowing that success is just within reach. The bridge of the song is a call to action, with Pierce telling his fans to ignore the naysayers and keep pushing toward their goals.

Overall, KARMA is a powerful message of inspiration and motivation. It's a song that encourages listeners to stay true to themselves and not let the opinions of others hold them back.

Season 1 karma is my favourite it felt more simple and genuine what chris put the kids threw it feels more satisfying.

@muhammedcamara7670

While that karma was satisfying, it really wasn’t enough for me. Throwing Chris at a lake? That’s compensation for the season-long abuse and humiliation he subjected them to? There were injuries, starvation, vomiting, animal attacks, and so much more torture. Throwing Chris at a lake made up for that? 🀨

@casuallectures2655

@@muhammedcamara7670 I'd say it's a valid enough punishment, Season 1-2 Chris was a jackass but he still had the morals to keep heavy tabs on the challenges and to not outright send the campers on suicide missions. If anything most of those injuries were from the campers intentionally sabotaging each other behind his back, accepting challenges that Chris would sometimes explicitly say they could refuse, or from some crazy x-factor like the wildlife that they all probably signed up for anyways

@muhammedcamara7670

@Casual Lectures Mhmm… I never thought of it that way. I guess the punishment does fit the crime. Though, I believe Chris was at his most tame in Season 1 as he was more of a mean jokester with a love-hate relationship with the cast. Season 2 had him become crueler with blatantly evil smiles, laughs, and outright admitting how much he loves torturing the cast.

@casuallectures2655

@@muhammedcamara7670 Yeah but he still had his boundaries like in masters of disaster where he's concerned and outright arguing with Chef to stop the challenge before everyone drowned

@muhammedcamara7670

@Casual Lectures True, but remember that he only cared about the cast drowning out of fear of the show getting cancelled; not getting paid; being out of a job; his luxurious lifestyle ending; and, probably most importantly, getting sued.

Chris getting thrown in the lake during Island gives me life πŸ‘€

@itswariotime7543

Interesting, in seasons 5 and 6 where he was at his worst, he was a complete psychopath, he received no karma.

@Brajxdv

Yeah, in season 1 and 2 he was pretty chill

@nathansniffletonthealicorn5913

In the Season 5 finale, Chris didn't care about his phone calls. He was also scolded by the flown away contestants' families, parents, grandparents, boyfriends, girlfriends, and Bakugan partners!
