(Put it in my interview if you're real about it) yeah
(If I move on, then you gon' hear about it) yeah
(I feel a way and I feel real about it)
Yeah, I'm just tryna survive the night
And take my own advice
And never love again
Can't get you out of my mind
I took the drug again, yeah
Not a good decision inside, it's only you by my side
I've had enough again, yeah, uh
Who told you you get to decide the way I'm feelin' inside?
I'm fuckin' over it
I love you
You just take advantage 'cause you know I do
I can't wait until I'm strong enough to walk away
I can't wait until your love don't make me feel a way
Yeah, I'm just tryna survive the night
And take my own advice
And never love again
Toxic as you are, you're a vice
Can't get you out of my mind
I took the drug again, yeah
Not a good decision inside, it's only you by my side
I've had enough again, yeah, uh
Who told you you get to decide the way I'm feelin' inside?
I'm fuckin' over it
(Who told you you get to decide?)
(Who told you you get to decide the way I'm feelin' inside?)
I'm fuckin' over it
Oh, oh, oh (woo)
I won't go back, that's how I feel about it
Put it in my interview if you're real about it
If I move on, then you gon' hear about it
I feel a way and I feel real about it
I love you
You just take advantage 'cause you know I do
I can't wait until I'm strong enough to walk away

The lyrics of Chris Brown's song "Survive The Night" depict a person who is determined to move on from a toxic and manipulative relationship. The singer expresses a strong desire to break free from the emotional pain caused by their partner's actions. They assert their independence and self-worth, refusing to be controlled or influenced by the other person's decisions.
The chorus highlights the singer's struggle to let go. They acknowledge the addictive nature of the relationship, comparing their partner to a vice that they can't escape from. Despite knowing that it's not a healthy choice, they find themselves drawn back to their partner, unable to resist the allure.
The lyrics also reveal the singer's frustration and anger towards their partner's behavior. They mention being taken advantage of and their longing for the moment they will be strong enough to walk away and no longer be affected by their partner's love. The repetition of the line "I'm fuckin' over it" further emphasizes their determination to move on and leave the toxicity behind.
Overall, "Survive The Night" is a powerful anthem of self-empowerment and resilience in the face of a toxic relationship. It reflects the internal struggle of trying to break free from someone who manipulates and takes advantage of the singer's love and emotions.
