You know you dead wrong, you got them heels on
That make your body set perfect
That birthday dress on, there's nothin' left on
And I just wanna see the way that you act with my hands on your throat
And the way that you sound when you're beggin' for more
The way that it hit, lookin' just like it 'posed to
Girl, you ride like a pro, ain't your first rodeo
Looks like you need some release, I got you
Girl, when you get on your knees, that's not you
Girl, is it me or the dream inside you?
Who said that both can't be true?
I only came for the view, but I stayed for the taste
The way that body shaped
You know I look good on you like icing on the cake
Invite me to your waist (oh-woah)
That's my favorite point of view (oh, view, view, oh-woah)
That's my favorite point of view (view, view, ski-ski)
Top of the skyline, middle of nighttime (night)
View from the court, right on the floor, next to the sideline (ooh)
These hoes tryna see where we at, yeah, they gon' die tryin'
That's the funny thing about fate, you can't decide mine
Looks like you need some release, I got you
Girl, when you get on your knees, that's not you
Girl, is it me or the dream inside you? (Oh)
Who said that both can't be true?
I only came for the view, but I stayed for the taste
The way that body shaped
You know I look good on you like icing on the cake
Invite me to your waist (oh-woah)
That's my favorite point of view (oh, view, view, oh-woah)
That's my favorite point of view (view, view, baby)
Looks like you need some release, I got you
Girl, when you get on your knees, that's not you
Girl, is it me or the dream inside you?
Who said that both can't be true?
I only came for the view
The lyrics of "Views" by Chris Brown portray a highly sensual and intimate encounter between two individuals. The song highlights the allure and seductive power of a woman, particularly through her appearance and the way she carries herself. The first verse indicates that the woman purposefully presents herself in an enticing manner, wearing high heels and a revealing dress that accentuates her body. The singer expresses his desire to witness her response as he places his hands on her throat, a symbol of dominance and control. The lyrics imply a certain level of BDSM undertones, as the woman's begging for more suggests a desire for submission and pleasure. The singer praises her sexual prowess, comparing her to someone experienced in "riding like a pro" and engaging in various sexual activities.
In the chorus, the singer further emphasizes his physical attraction to the woman, stating that he originally came for the visual pleasure (the "view") but stayed for the taste, referring to the physical intimacy and sexual encounter. He compares himself to icing on a cake, suggesting that he enhances her overall appeal and appearance. The narrative perspective shifts slightly in the second verse, mentioning how others try to locate their whereabouts and the singer's assertion that fate cannot be controlled or predetermined.
Overall, the lyrics of "Views" explore themes of desire, physical attraction, dominance, and pleasure, ultimately depicting an intense and passionate encounter between two individuals.
