I need some answers, answers from you, oh
What do you do fighting for your life
And no one's on your side, yeah, baby
I can't stand to lose you, see you're in too deep
And know nowhere to hide
What do you do?
Na-na-na-na-na
What do you do?
Take a chance, chance, chance on your own
But what do you do? Do, oh yeah
What do you do?
I can see you, no disguise
You got that look up in your eye
You got that look up in your eye
It's a lining of disguise
You got that look up in your eye
You got that look up in your eye
So tell me, baby
What do you do fighting for your life
And no one's on your side, oh
I can't stand to lose you, see you're in too deep
And know nowhere to hide
I got a question
What do you do?
Take a chance, chance, chance on your own
Na-na-na-na-na
What do you do?
Take a chance, chance, chance on your own
Yeah-yeah
But what do you do? Do, oh yeah
What do you do?
It's a lining of disguise
You got that look up in your eye
You got that look up in your eye
It's a lining of disguise
You got that look up in your eye
You got that look up in your eye
What do you do fighting for your life
And no one's on your side
I can't stand to lose you, see you're in too deep
And know nowhere to hide
What do you do?

What do you do?

What do you do?
The lyrics of Chris Brown's song "What Would You Do" explore the theme of adversity and the need to make difficult choices in the face of hardship. The song starts with a series of questions, addressing someone who is fighting for their life with no one to support them. The singer expresses their unwillingness to lose this person and acknowledges that they are in a deep and seemingly inescapable situation.
The chorus poses the central question: "What do you do?" It suggests taking a chance and making a decision on one's own, despite the odds. The repetition of the question emphasizes the urgency and importance of taking action. The subsequent lyrics highlight the observer's ability to see through any disguise or pretense, implying a deep understanding of the difficulties faced by the person in question.
The song emphasizes the need to confront challenges head-on and make decisions independently, even when it appears that no one is on your side. It touches upon themes of resilience, determination, and the courage to face adversity.
