2:28 bass line has a super catchy riff to it. I could jam drums and bass on that grove for days. I really am enjoying your older stuff. It is very creative. ALSO, would you be open to a Chris Joss remix album. Various funk artists doing remix covers of your tunes as a tribute to you and your music? I think it would be sweet. One of my bands has been having a blast jamming on little nature.

Chris Joss

Ohh so cute ! I have a 19 y/o daughter, her young years are my best memories!
Cool for the movie and soundtrack !

@Chris Joss I am about half way through car wash. I ordered the sound track. Also, I have gone through the Rose Royce music collection. Wowsers! Thank you again for the directions to funk village. It has been an exciting trip into 70s funk, to say the least. Also, my 3year old daughter wanted to dance to little nature with me. She calls it " Your friends song with all the pretty color's."

Chris Joss

Sorry for sounding patronizing, I didn't mean to, of course you knew the message of the lyrics were hypocritical, and like you said in phase with modern day politics. Did you see that movie ?

Kyle Treder

@Chris Joss Yes! Thank you. Your comment is in reference to the bass part that I commented about. Im picking up what your putting down. In regards to the lyrics. This idea "If you got to believe in something, why not believe in me" Is the root of many issues, here in the states. Thanks again for your insight.

Chris Joss

The lyrics are second degree, it's about the character played by Richard Pryor, Daddy Rich, getting money from naive believers. At the beginning you can see him giving money to an old man, later the old man gives it to the guy that collects haha. Carwash, great movie and soundtrack.
