He continues to be the guitarist and vocalist of Hot Water Music (1993–1996, 1997–2006, 2008–present), a punk rock band from Gainesville, Florida. In 2007 Ragan began releasing a variety of solo material, including a series of singles on No Idea Records, a live album (Los Feliz) and several studio albums (including Feast or Famine, Gold Country, Covering Ground).
