Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Minha alma que chora
Está vendo o meu fim
Fez do meu coração a sua moradia
Já é demais o meu penar
Quero voltar àquela vida de alegria
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Tristeza, por favor, vai embora
Minha alma que chora
Está vendo o meu fim
Fez do meu coração a sua moradia
Já é demais o meu penar
Quero voltar àquela vida de alegria
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá
Quero de novo cantar
Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá
Lalá-lalá-lalalá...
The lyrics to CLÉMENTINE's song Tristeza convey the message of a person begging to sadness to leave them alone. The song begins with a repeated melody of "Lalalalá-lalá-lalá-lalalá" which serves as an introduction to the song and creates a somber tone. The lyrics then start with the person addressing their sadness, asking it to leave so that they can stop feeling the pain. The person's soul is crying and they can see their end, indicating that the sadness has taken over their life. They feel as though their heart has become the home of the sadness and the pain they feel is too much to bear. The person then expresses their desire to go back to a life of happiness, where they can sing once again.
The repetitive nature of the song's melody and lyrics emphasizes the singer's plea for the sadness to leave. The use of repetition could also represent the feeling of being stuck in a depressive state, where the same emotions are constantly being felt. The simplicity of the lyrics and melody highlights the raw and genuine emotions being expressed and adds to the overall melancholic feeling of the song.
Overall, the song Tristeza is a powerful and emotional expression of one's struggle with sadness and the longing for happiness.
