Falling Down
Clear Lyrics

Were You thinking then of me?
Put mountains in their places
Gave morning birds their voices
Were You thinking then of me?
My humble cry,
You set aside the universe to hear the sound
Falling down, near Your feet
Who could stand on holy ground?
Fount of grace, touch my face
Cleanse me now, I'm falling, falling down
Minnesota sleeping
Winter air is keeping very little sound
Where Seventh crosses Hennepin
It's clean and white like heaven when it's falling to the ground
Blanket of white
Your perfect light can rest upon me when I'm found
Low before my King
Praise is all I bring
Low before Your throne
I worship You alone
The song "Falling Down" by Clear is a beautiful song with deep spiritual and religious themes. The lyrics reflect upon the majesty of God's creation and his presence in everything around us. The opening lines of the song speak of God's creation of the earth, mountains and the birds. The singer then wonders if God was thinking about him during the creation. The second verse of the song takes us to Minnesota in winter, where snow blankets everything and the air is still. The beauty of the white blanket is compared to heaven. The final verse of the song is an expression of humility and devotion to God, with the singer falling low before God's throne.
The song's main focus is on worship and the power of faith. It is an ode to the majesty of God and his everlasting presence in everything around us. The lyrics are beautifully written, using strong imagery and metaphors that emphasize the amazing grace and infinite power of God.
Overall, "Falling Down" is a powerful song that encourages listeners to turn to God in times of uncertainty and hardship. It is a reminder that God's love is always present and that worship is a powerful tool to connect with the divine.
