2. "Committed" a four pieced acoustic rock band from the Lake Ray Hubbard area of Dallas, Texas was formed by two young men Austin Bello and Caleb Turman who began playing guitar together at the age of 12. Not long after coming together the duo discovered that they had a knack for writing music. The group was later rounded out when they found two others who shared their passion for acoustic music; enter Drew Beilman, the band's bass player and Johnny McAnally, the drummer. In a short period of time Committed had developed their own music flavor that was influenced greatly by the artist/bands "Dashboard Confessional" and "Dave Matthews". On any given weekend you will find "Committed" playing their stylized acoustic rhythms they labeled (acoustic emo) at numerous venues in the North Texas area. Here are a few of the many favorable comments from club operators where they have performed. "Commited makes great post-punk, acoustic based rock that really fills the room. Passionate live performances really give the audience a euphoric high; the audience leaves with a tangible comfort and happiness every time they play." - The Door / Dallas, Texas "We recently had the band Committed play at our club and found them to be a very creative, high energy acoustic rock band. They brought a lot of enthusiasm and audience participation to the venue that night and we all had a great time. Great music and great people is what we're all about and the band Committed represented our venue well." - The Ice House / Rockwall, Texas "They display a genuine love of life and sing in such a way that they are sure to make a favorable impression. After their first performance they became an instant favorite at our park, and repeat performances were in great demand." - Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park / Garland, Texas.

Something More
Committed Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to Committed's song Something More are a powerful reminder of the human desire to reach for something greater in life. The opening line "Something more is what we all reach for" captures the essence of the song, highlighting the fact that no matter who we are or where we come from, we all have a longing for something beyond what we currently have.
The line "when we all grab we all join" speaks to the idea that we are not alone in our quest for something more. Whether it's personal success, social justice, or simply a better quality of life, we all have a part to play in making the world a better place. The song encourages unity and collective action in pursuit of our individual and collective goals.
The line "It's my war" reflects the idea that this pursuit of something more can be a struggle at times. However, the song reminds us that it is this very struggle that keeps us alive and gives us the strength to keep going. In the end, the lyrics proclaim that even if we fail to reach our desired destination, the fact that we tried for something more is something to be proud of.

Hello Pragmatic Entertainment, I am currently 20 years old. I graduated high school and have been working as a cashier since graduation til now. I am unsure of what i want to commit my education to for college, because I feel i might fail to a point where i cant get back up. In the last few years, i have lost a lot of my family, including my father, uncle and grandfather who i looked upon for guidance, but without them, I feel depressed to a point where i dont want to learn in school. I want to be able to find happiness in what i study, and not think of it as a to-do list towards getting a degree. Can you offer any advice? Thank you.

@Bahle Gaji and yes to that I would second. I learnt the hard way not to mix business & relationships.
Bahle Gaji
Common thing that tends to happen is that mixing business with family and friends results in either the business or relationships going "bad" over time. Something like that should be thought about

Fear should be the reason why, it should about whether you leaving your job and joining your family is better for both you and your family or not. If the business is bearly enough to sustain them I would say stay in your current job but if the business is being expanded and they need extra people then go for it.
Right now you are just making sombody else's dreams come true.

For me this talk also corelates to the one he gave about telling the truth- being true to yourself and stating your truth, biased as you are, stupid as you are, ignorant as you are. Its like, go out there and state your truth instead of shutting up thinking you dont know enough. Like, pick a side! Pick something! Anything other than being on the fence because then you wont have any respect ...im guessing im getting it? Lol im 18 and i think i understand this? Please state your interpretations too id love to know
