an all time high
The lyrics "pastime, an all-time high" repeated four times in Condor44's song suggest the singer's indulgence in a particular activity that they have enjoyed for a long time. The word "pastime" indicates that this activity is something done for pleasure or relaxation, rather than for any practical purpose. The repetition of "an all-time high" is significant in that it emphasizes the intense enjoyment the singer is currently experiencing in this activity.
One possible interpretation of these lyrics is that the singer is engaged in some type of substance use, such as drugs or alcohol, that has become a habitual pastime. The phrase "an all-time high" suggests that the singer is feeling particularly euphoric or intoxicated at the moment. However, it's important to note that this interpretation is not necessarily definitive and the lyrics could be referring to any type of activity that provides the singer with an intense sense of pleasure and enjoyment.
Overall, these lyrics suggest a sense of satisfaction and contentment, at least in the moment, with a chosen activity. The repeated use of "an all-time high" emphasizes the singer's enjoyment and suggests that they are fully immersed in the experience.
