They formed in 2018, consisting of Sean Murphy-O'Neill (Vocals/Guitar), Sean Thomas (Drums), Joshua Cope (Guitar) and Connor McCann (bass) and quickly built a known reputation for themselves in the Liverpool music scene.
2019 brought them their first single "Not Yr Man" and several support slots with bands such as Heavy Lungs, FEET and Sports Team.
In January of 2020, they released fan-favourite single "Football". This was met with great critical reception and got them their first mainstream radio play on BBC Radio 1 and 6.
Lockdown hit and they released label-debut "David ByrneтАЩs Badside" under Nice Swan Records.
In August, while restrictions were temporarily eased, they took to Whitewood Studios again to record "Grand National". Lead single "Popshop!" was released in November with the announcement of the EP. This took the band to a new horizon, with the addition of live guitarist/noisemaker тАУ Josh Cope тАУ a good friend of the band. Two remixes of the song from The Lounge Society and Home Counties were released shortly after.
In March 2021 they released the second single and title track from the EP, "Grand National". They announced their debut headline tour shortly after this release: including an upgrade of hometown headline (from Phase One to O2 Academy 2).
On April 9th, they released debut EP "Grand National" to high acclaim. The band toured extensively behind this in September 2021.
The band would then release their debut studio album "Guitar Music" the following year in 2022.

My brain almost exploded when you revealed that Kuon as well as fatal frame, silent hill 4 and siren all lost to Ghosthunter. The four games mentioned before are all masterpieces of horror. The west really just wasn't ready.

I just finished Kuon today for the 2nd time in over a decade.
Clunky combat,vague and confusing story but a world DRIPPED in atmosphere and environmental storytelling.
The game is truly special

i dont think its just the camera angles that created that ambiance and mood it was also the color palet the dirty dark the lack of glossy polished texture also the art direction creating faces that are almost realistic but have a bit of an anime influence topped with minimalistic facial animation letting your bain fill in the gaps unlike modern games where you ultra realistic faces but the animation dont match making it a bit strange to look at ....as for the gameplay you can see how niche this title is .its so unique because of the creative freedom given to the devs to make their vision despite the limitations...games from the late 90s to the early 2010s had a soul because they were not mainstream and they were treated as an artform

Nice analysis just want to say Abe is pronounce "A-Bay" and Seimei is pronounced "Say-May", hope that helps.
The rivalry of Abe no Seimei and Domon is also about a box and divining what the contents are. Which were originally 15 oranges then changed to rats.
The Fujiwara family is actually the real ruling family behind the Emperors in the Heian period. So Domon is actually still allowed at their family home which shows he had considerable influence to plan and execute his ritual over a period of time.

i've learned a lot from researching this game/setting, i would've loved to include more background to the video but it already was long enough and i didn't want to jam it up!
but the history surrounding it is nothing less than astonishing!
