Alex Moerman & Paul Gorbulski are a hardstyle duo from Israel. Their unique style is Hands Up – a mixture of Eurodance & Hard Dance, but always flavored with House, Trance, 80's, Rock or Electro elements. In studio, Alex contributes the beats and sound design. He Used to play the drums and therefore has a great ability in creating the right groove for Crystal Lake's tracks. Paul is in charge of the melodies and the lyrics. When Paul was a kid he used to play the violin, after training for 1 year he threw the violin against the wall and broke it! Guess that wasn't meant to be. After his unsuccessful violin experience Paul started taking piano lessons.
Crystal Lake was founded in Friday 13th 1999, since then Alex & Paul were busy breaking their own personal records, always aiming higher & higher towards their ultimate goal.
Over the years Crystal Lake had numerous amounts of live shows, dozens of top chart positions, over 2 Million views on YouTube, their own radio show (Crystal Nation) with over 13,000 listeners and are regularly featured on compilations such as Dream Dance (Sony), VIVA Club Rotation (Ministry Of Sound) & Future Trance (Universal).

So take it away
Take it away again
Take it away
Taking over Earth and beyond the skies
Show me a sign, you down to ride?
For progression
For progression
I want it all, space time in sync
Life intertwines my desires in sonic speed
So we lift from the ground
Blasting off much higher and higher we go
You'll never take me under
Never gonna take me under
Broken down
This burden was mine
'Cause gravity holds nothing refined
Now forever
We'll live forever
I want to know if there's more to this
I want to know if there's more to this
(One small step for man, one giant leap
For mankind)
You'll never take me under
Never gonna take me under
Now we're falling, falling down
Falling, falling down to nowhere to nowhere
Now we are falling, falling down
Falling, falling down, to nowhere
Now we are falling down
The universe ain't big enough for all of us
Open the sky
This universe wasn't big enough for us
Open the sky
Taste of our past left in their future
View from the sky
I'm the rainmaker
This odyssey got me lit
'Cause I'm getting fired up in commotion
It's true
See beyond what you're supposed to
Choose to see what I see
You won't dare to deny it
Who is ever gonna find me
When gravity breaks away?
Who ever knew we'd go
Where gravity breaks away?
Now we've reached beyond
Where gravity fades away
You'll never take me under
Never gonna take me under
You'll never take me under
Never gonna take me under
Now we're falling, falling down
Falling, falling down to nowhere to nowhere
Now we are falling, falling down
Falling, falling down, to nowhere
Now we are falling down
The song, Apollo, by Crystal Lake is a powerful rock anthem that speaks to the band's ambition and desire to reach new heights. The song opens with the lyrics, "We made from nothing, so take it away, take it away again, take it away," which suggests that the band has worked hard to get where they are and they are willing to fight to keep it. They go on to sing about their desire to take over Earth and beyond, asking if their listeners are "down to ride." They acknowledge that pain is necessary for progression and that they want it all "space time in sync."
As the song continues, the band reflects on their past struggles, singing "broken down, this burden was mine, 'cause gravity holds nothing refined." The band expresses their desire to live forever and to know if there is more to life. The song ends with the lyrics "the universe ain't big enough for all of us, open the sky" indicating that Crystal Lake is ready to take on whatever comes their way.
The song is an inspiring anthem that speaks to the power of hard work, ambition, and determination. It is a great example of the type of rock music that inspires people to push themselves to succeed and to reach for the stars.
