Curren$y had an underground hit in 2006, Where Da Cash At, which can be heard on several of Lil' Wayne's mixtapes, including Dedication 2. He was featured on Lil Wayne's song "Grown Man" from the album Tha Carter II. Due to certain issues concerning the release of his album Music 2 Fly 2, he left Young Money and formed his Fly Society crew with professional skateboarder and rapper Terry Kennedy.
He has since focused on his Jets movement, which helped introduce various rappers such as Trademark da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Fendi P and T.Y., as well as slightly reintroduce No Limit veteran Fiend to new audiences. He later started to work in New York with Ski Beatz and other MCs at Dame Dash's DD172; where he released Pilot Talk and its sequel Pilot Talk II both in 2010, and was also featured on several songs on Ski Beatz' 24 Hour Karate School. Since then, Curren$y has put out eight more albums, 25 EPs and 43 mixtapes.

Aw shit

I know pimps
I know hustling ass bitches
I know dealers
All of 'em in the house and you nervous as fuck
But I'm chilling, I'm chilling
I know pimps
I know hustling ass bitches
I know dealers
I know cold-hearted killers
All of 'em in the house and you nervous as fuck
But I'm chilling, I'm chilling
I'm chilling, I brung 'em in here
They're my niggas, they're my familia
They're my bitches, they might kill ya
That's my main thang, that's her sister
We ain't married, but we live here
And for better or for worse we getting millions
Low riders at the airport, now guess who sent them
To pick my homie up, he just getting here
From Cali to Dallas, Atlanta, now we back again
We live this life, you niggas just be repping it
Coupe roof milkyway, got the stratosphere
Rap-rapping out of my mind got me up in here
I know pimps
I know hustling ass bitches
I know dealers
I know cold-hearted killers
All of 'em in the house and you nervous as fuck
But I'm chilling, I'm chilling
I know pimps
I know hustling ass bitches
I know dealers
I know cold-hearted killers
All of 'em in the house and you nervous as fuck
But I'm chilling, I'm chilling

The lyrics of Curren$y & Kino Beats's song One of One showcase the rapper's pride in his chosen lifestyle, which includes mingling with pimps, hustlers, dealers, and cold-hearted killers. The rapper seems to be unfazed by their presence and is instead focused on chilling. He even reveals that some of these people are his family and friends. The song is also about the rapper's significant other, who lives with him, and despite not being married, they have committed to each other through thick and thin while making millions.
In One of One, Curren$y is essentially painting a picture of his life, which is filled with swag, gangster vibes, and a love for the good life. His unapologetic attitude towards his circle of people seems to suggest that he finds their presence comforting, and he is not afraid of judgment or condemnation from outsiders.
Overall, the lyrics of One of One are an expression of Curren$y's self-assuredness and pride in his choices and the life he has built for himself.
