Curren$y had an underground hit in 2006, Where Da Cash At, which can be heard on several of Lil' Wayne's mixtapes, including Dedication 2. He was featured on Lil Wayne's song "Grown Man" from the album Tha Carter II. Due to certain issues concerning the release of his album Music 2 Fly 2, he left Young Money and formed his Fly Society crew with professional skateboarder and rapper Terry Kennedy.
He has since focused on his Jets movement, which helped introduce various rappers such as Trademark da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Fendi P and T.Y., as well as slightly reintroduce No Limit veteran Fiend to new audiences. He later started to work in New York with Ski Beatz and other MCs at Dame Dash's DD172; where he released Pilot Talk and its sequel Pilot Talk II both in 2010, and was also featured on several songs on Ski Beatz' 24 Hour Karate School. Since then, Curren$y has put out eight more albums, 25 EPs and 43 mixtapes.

20/24 chronic in this bitch
Took my drivers seat out, put a throne in my shit
We street kings, concrete castles, penthouses is lavish
It was established I could have it when I met her, but
I ain't even gon' fuck
Just gon' bend a corners on a couple my homies
See what the gas man got for me
Passenger occupied by pretty eyes half open
'Cause she been smokin'
That girl so high, that girl on fire for a rider
Now she right on side one
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
Cars with the boomin' system
S10 blazers, dancing bears
I used to draw 'em on my loose-leaf papers
Now the proof is on the pavement
We made it we major
We turned people who used to be cool with us into haters
So? Can't be scared to grow, they want you afraid to shine
'Cause they too pussy to try
I'm paid cuz, I said do when you said die
I laid down log, paid dues, bend rules, never lie
Tony made what he could on the side
Never turned you Frank
Just tried to add a couple zeros to the bank
But you know how that went
Ambition to get tigers at the crib and all types of crazy shit

In the song "Cars" by Curren$y, the lyrics depict a luxurious and lavish lifestyle associated with success and wealth. The opening lines, "On the low like a ground effects kit, 20/24 chronic in this bitch," signify a desire to keep a low profile while still indulging in the finest things, such as expensive cars and high-quality marijuana. The next line, "Took my drivers seat out, put a throne in my shit," suggests that Curren$y has elevated his status and transformed his car into a symbol of power and authority.
As the song continues, Curren$y reflects on his rise to prominence, referencing "street kings" and "concrete castles" as symbols of his success. He mentions a girl who is constantly high and captivated by his lavish lifestyle. The repetition of the phrase "Cars with the boomin' system" emphasizes the extravagant and flashy aspect of his life, particularly his love for cars equipped with powerful audio systems.
Curren$y also highlights the transformations that success brings, particularly in terms of relationships. He mentions turning people who were once supportive into haters and acknowledges the need for personal growth and ambition. He refers to his willingness to take risks and bend the rules in order to achieve success and increase his wealth. The lyrics also touch on the desire for exotic and extravagant possessions, such as tigers at his home and other "crazy shit."
Overall, the lyrics of "Cars" portray a flamboyant and opulent lifestyle associated with success, wealth, and a nonchalant attitude towards societal norms.

Curren$y is the only rapper I know who won't just blindly throw money at a car. He can haggle his shit like a true car enthusiast. He moves smart. Not just buy the newest most expensive car on the lot. Much respect to Young Spitta Andretti.

@David Álvarez It is a luxury to have millions at your disposal, but I digress. This "spend it, why save?" mentality is the main reason people in general go broke. Even the wealthiest men/women still have to properly invest and manage their money wisely.
