Lembro daquele dia
Companhia
Dos amigos
Me fez
Sorrir
Só de lembrar
Sinto um calafrio
Parece que o mundo
Me avisava o
Oque estava por vir
Por vir
Entre olhares e conversas
Eu durmi
Acordo cedo
Meio que em segredo
Sem querer acorda
Ninguém...
Parti
Mais não consegui!
Um barulho no portão
Do vizinho
Minha casa
Me fez
Querer levanta dali
Acenei pro Krenak
E parti
Chegando em casa
Ela Me abraça
Ela
Me guarda
Desde que eu nasci
Mas dessa
Vez
Parece que
Ela
Se despedia
De min
O sorriso dela
Me faz sorrir
Minha mãe
Perto de min
Mais uma vez
Eu vó sai
Acompanhado
De quem nunca
Desistiu de min
Um momento de paz
Perto do fim
O cheiro das flores
Os quadros
As paisagem do camim
A chácara
Que eu ia comprar
Mas não consegui
O sonho se afastando de min
To indo pra casa
Deus Me guarda...
Ao lado de um Homem
E do maior exemplo
De mulher que eu conheci
No carro
Uma estranha
Me encara
Me olha
Me encara
Olha pra min
Entre
E olhares
E brincadeiras
Eu só sorri
13.20 To em casa
O relógio não para
O coração dispara
Parece que algo
Me avisava
Oque tava por vir
Carrego o celular
Caso precise ligar
Vamos
Nos vamos
Nus atrasar
Ouvi de quem tava comigo
De rua
Em rua
De rua
Em rua
O GPS
Indica caminho
Um momento
Separa
O início
O precipício
O fim
Nada previsto
Aquele carro me acertando
Como
Um míssil
Ouço
O toque
O choque
Tudo partindo
Estilhaços
Pedaços
Ouço gritos
O meu desespero
O desespero dos amigos
Graças a Deus
Ninguém tá
Tá ferido
Ainda piora
Depois disso
No outro carro
Um homem da lei
Ferido
Tudo distorcido
Virei réu desde o inicio
Tudo distorcido
Preconceito nos olhares
A confusão desde do inicio
Fui coagido
Me chamou no cantinho
Queria
Que eu assumi-se autoria
De um delito
Num estante
Tudo desmorona
Tudo veio a toma
Tudo prejuízo
A policia chega...
Começa
O precipício
Mil pensamentos
Em meio a confusão
Eu atordoado
Com tudo isso
Com tudo isso
Meu carro
Meus sonhos
Como o vidro
Tudo se partindo
Eu procurando um abrigo
Tudo piora depois disso
Chega o guincho
Os dextrosos
Seguem o caminho
To preocupado comigo
(Eu fui conduzido)
Alguns segundos atrás
Eu tava sorrindo
Mais uma vez to partindo
Me vi dentro da Viatura
Respiro fundo
Já não tenho
Mas meu sorriso
Dentro da viatura
Me sinto
Desmerecido
Olho pros meus amigos
Tô me despedindo
Do outro lado do vidro
Frio como Gelo
O desespero
O apelo
O medo
Meu mundo caindo
Sei pra onde eu tô indo
Onde nascem homens
Morrem os meninos
Num estante eu tava sorrindo
No outro algemado
Naquele lugar frio
Nem cachorro merece
Isso
A lei deu
Lugar
Pro opressor
Pro opressor
Mesmo algemado
Sem defesa
Socos
Chutes
Socos
Chutes
Sinto dor!
Vejo o ódio
Do ódio
No olhar
Dos homens que apanham comigo.
E olha que
Antes
Acordei
Sorrindo
Não falo nada
Esperando pra ser ouvido
Tento me acostumar
Com o convívio...
O tempo passa
Deus me guarda
Espero que
Esteja comigo
Preso na sela
Ódio meu novo
Amigo
Mais
Um vez
Me sinto
Sozinho
Me pego
Refletindo
Como aconteceu tudo isso
Meu carro batido
Sistema fudido
Na minha cabeça
Ainda ouço os gritos
"Não corre não"
"Não corre não"
Como se eu fosse um fugitivo
Seu carro é emprestado?
Oque faz da vida menino?
Olhares de INDIFERENÇA dês do início
Meu algos
Me viu algemado
Do outro lado
Tento
Fala comigo
Sobre um tal prejuízo
Mais Eu
Quem fui humilhado
Agredido dês do
Início
Por um momento
Esqueço termendo
Ouço meu nome tô atento
Mesmo atordoado com tudo isso
Tô curioso com aquilo
Tô curioso com aquilo
Me levam pra um cela
Longe do início
Preciso de um advogado
Pra enfrentar tudo
Mas e se eu fosse
"Branquinho"
Será que eu tinha sofrido?
Esse foi meu delito
Estar dirigindo
Se neguinho
Ter
Cada de bandido
Violência justifica nisso
A tranca abre
Nem acredito
Jogado na cela
Dês do início
Vejo a luz fora
Do precipício
Por um momento achei que seria
Só mais uma estatísticas
Por um corpo esquecido
De pele preta
Dado como sumido
Jogado num terreno baldio
Na notícia
Reagiu
Levou tiro.
Na rua refleti
Sobre tudo isso
Sejamos fortes
Como Pedra
Forjados na Guerra
O mundo ti cobrará
Isso!
The lyrics to D.H. Lawrence's song 05 are a haunting reflection of a man's memories and experiences leading up to and including a tragic event. The song begins with a cold early morning and memories of friends, laughter, and the feeling of something ominous to come. The man sets out on a journey with a sense of foreboding, not realizing that his life is about to change forever. As he drives, he experiences moments of peace and beauty. However, he is ultimately met with a car accident that leaves him feeling betrayed and alone. The man is left to face the legal consequences of the accident, all while grappling with the deeply ingrained prejudice and violence that have dominated his life.
Throughout the song, there are themes of loss, regret, and injustice. The man's memories of his mother and childhood home contrast starkly with the brutal reality of his experience with the legal system. The song is lyrically dense and is also musically haunting, using sparse instrumentation to convey the weight of the lyrics. Overall, D.H. Lawrence's song 05 is a powerful commentary on the human experience and the inequities that exist in our societies.

He said it as it is
As it was
I admire him greatly for his courage
His determination to not lie about the psyche of both the local people and the aristocrats he met during his too short life
DHLawrence absolutely nailed it all
The viciousness and nastiness of the cruelty of human psyche was brought out by him with great understanding
That's why he was so disliked by those locals who never forget how to continue to be cruel
Amen

the written word conveys so much more and can paint a picture much more vivid than life it self
D H Lawrence is 8k resolution pimples and all, a real marvel he puts you right inside his picture
in poetic detail you fall in between and into his depth and into the cracks of his blunt intellect
and of the bare faced censorship of imagination of his time and of today.
is history never learnt and is it destined to repeat itself.(a thought)
I am a giant ignoramus to have never read his word.
though i had heard his name for some time and thought i'd have a try at him so i downloaded his complete works
to my kindle with other authors of note Tolstoy and such.. just for a laugh i'm bit of a butterfly
so i've got a few books open and all at various stages of being read and so i open the Kangaroo
was tempted to go for lady Chatterley's lover off the off but held back.. thought, leave the porn for later?.
Try his The Kangaroo first, and what an eye opener, it's so damn deep and magnificent it makes you cry
he put's you in through his eye and insight and of mind so completely, no wonder he was hated and banned
he's really scary he should be a compulsory read just to open ones imagination just a little.
And an easy read as well.

Lawrence spoke much of miners liking their gardens and flowers. I was a miner for 18 years or so and i think the liking of nature and flowers is the counterpoint of life underground that seemed devoid of colour except harsh black and grey. Speaking of myself, vibrant colour was uplifting for me, and the warmth of a natural sun on my face.

Being a miner would have been a tough life. I'm glad you could comfort yourself with wonderful colours.

Just finished Sons and Lovers. From the bottom of my heart I can honestly say I loved it. By the closing pages I was almost fighting back tears 😊

There is an excellent audio book of this on YouTube, read by Tony Foster. Such authentic accents used. I have heard these all of my life, being a Nottingham girl!
And yes, so sad at the end. 😢
Oceanic Paul
What an excellent documentary on Lawrence. The language is simplified and understandable. Thank you for making this. ❤️

I started reading his stories 2 months ago.
He describes natural scenes with rural peoples characters very well.. My greatest impression : his sopisticated skills to describe love/hatred/poorness simply by people conversations. This style leave readers great room for imagination after reading...
