Barcelona
D. Kay Lyrics

See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
Sometimes I, I feel like I don't know what's going on
And sometimes I'm led to believe everything I know is wrong
And always keeping the truth it's all in my mind
Explanations for the way that I feel
Are so hard to find
That's why that's why
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back, go back
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back back
(And all I wanna do is go)
(And all I wanna do is go back)
I feel (like)
I feel
I feel (like)
Like I wanna go back, like I gotta go back
I feel (like)
Said I feel
Like I wanna go back, like I gotta go back
Each time I decide these feelings can't keep going on, no no
It's just a matter of time before they come back twice as strong
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back back back
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back, go back
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
And all I wanna do is go back, back
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona
See anytime I hear this tune I just start drifting away
The lyrics to D. Kay & Epsilon's song "Barcelona" describe the powerful effect that music can have on our emotions and memories. The singer of the song expresses a deep longing to return to the city of Barcelona, which is brought on every time they hear a particular tune. The lyrics suggest that this connection to the city is rooted in some kind of important experience or memory, but it's not entirely clear what that might be. The song also deals with more existential themes, such as the difficulty of understanding one's own emotions and the struggle to discern reality from fantasy.
The repetition of the phrase "Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona" anchors the song and creates a strong sense of nostalgia and wistfulness. The singer's desire to "go back" is both a literal impulse to return to Barcelona and a metaphorical longing to recapture something lost or forgotten. The lyrics also suggest a sense of alienation and confusion, as the singer struggles to make sense of their feelings and reconcile them with what they know to be true.
Overall, the song is a powerful representation of the way that music can transport us to different times and places, evoke intense emotional responses, and help us make sense of our own experiences and emotions.

Iβm with you guys. I was preparing a summer playlist for Friday night at my bar , all the usual suspects were on the list , but canβt find this . There is Barcelona by DJ Kay , but itβs some weird song. The way I understand how Spotify works itβs probably the artist who wonβt allow the track to be played
