Love in the Ice is a song by South Korean boy band DBSK, also known as TVXQ, which expresses the pain and loneliness caused by a love that cannot be reciprocated. The song touches on the complex emotions felt when one gives love to someone who cannot love them back. The lyrics speak about how the warmth of love can melt a frozen heart, but also how that love can leave one feeling cold and alone when it is not returned. The song also mentions how everyone is searching for a place to heal their sadness and loneliness.
The first verse, sung by Jaejoong, talks about somebody's cold hands and how they are a symbol of their inability to return love. Changmin sings about how everyone is hiding the fact that they love someone, and are instead facing the other way to hide their feelings. Yoochun sings about how one's heart can be like ice, but that love can make it melt. The chorus is sung by Junsu and Yunho, reminding listeners that everyone is looking for a place to heal their sadness and loneliness.
The second verse, sung by Jaejoong and Yoochun, reflects on the fact that everyone is trying to find a place where they can be healed from their anguish and solitude. Yunho and Jaejoong address the listener directly, telling them that the place they are searching for is with the person they love, and encouraging them not to hesitate. The final part of the song is a repetition of the chorus, sung by all five members of the band, emphasizing the message that love can create a shining life, even if it is not reciprocated.

This group had soul. True legends. We will never get this type of group again. Everyone talks about BTS paving the way and being legends. No, the true legends are TVXQ.

Even up to this present time, no other group has surpassed DB5K's vocal capabilities as a whole. I haven't heard another group who can harmonize as well as them, whose members can all pass as main vocals, who can perform live as flawless as them. It's been more than a decade and I still cry each time I listen to this song. I miss them so much but I know we can never have them back together again </3
