His debut, 1994's Underground Vibes, was released on the tiny French label Street Jazz and was followed by a live recording for the Inflammable imprint (one of only a few "live" recordings in a genre so reliant on the temporal concessions of the recording studio). Dubbed Underground Live, the album featured performed extrapolations of many of the tracks from his debut, as well as a few new and improvised tracks. Now nearly impossible to find, those first two albums were reissued in America by Shadow Records, packaged together as the single-CD priced Mad Blunted Jazz (particularly useful since acquiring both on import could run more than 50 dollars!).
Although Cam's music has found little acceptance in his home country, audiences in the U.K., Japan, and America have begun picking up on his style. In 1996 Cam was featured on, among many others, the sprawling Mo'Wax compilation Headz 2, remixed tracks for such artists as Tek 9 and la Funk Mob, and most recently collaborated on live and in-studio projects with Snooze and DJ Krush (he co-wrote a few tracks on the latter's 1997 Mo'Wax release, Mi Sound). Cam released Substances on Inflammable in 1997. The next year, his major-label debut, The Beat Assassinated, appeared on Columbia Records. In 2000, he released a three-volume series named The Loa Project. Cam dropped HoneyMoon, a smooth mix album that combined jazz and underground hip hop, at the close of 2001.

G Love And Special Sauce
I Love You
I guess I′m lucky
It's in my blood I′ve got you and us two
That's what I'm thinking of
So you′re moving into my place
That′s a 24 hour taste
This feeling I sure can't sense
I know it sounds old
But I love you I love you
I love you
So we seem a little young we have fun
We′re friends we've lovers
Who cares about those others
Already got fathers and mothers
Two can be a crew got plenty to do something to see
Look in my eyes baby
Believe me
I know it sounds old
But I love you I love you
I love you
Your pops don′t like me
Your moms sure does
She's seen the looks I give you
Seen them enough
To know this ain't no phase
Or some part time craze
It′s a love affair that lasts during the week days
I believe in lucky and money
I′ve got ten bucks and a honey
I know I'm lucky
Just look at you and me
Move on in move on in
That ain′t no sin
It ain't gonna be a sin
When we turn the lights to dim
I know it sounds old
But I love you I love you
I love you
The lyrics of G Love and Special Sauce's "I Love You" is a declaration of love that is both sweet and honest. The opening lines of the song immediately sets the tone, with the artist proclaiming how lucky he feels to have found someone he loves. He acknowledges that his love for his partner is innate and declares that he can't get enough of the feeling he experiences when they are together.
The verses then describe how the artist and his partner seem young and carefree but that they have already established a loving relationship. He assures his partner that they can face the world together and that he has great love and respect for her parents, even if her father doesn't particularly care for him.
The artist also expresses his belief that luck and money are essential to happiness, but he recognizes that the most valuable aspect of his life is his loving relationship. He invites his partner to move in with him, promising that their love will grow stronger, even when things get tough. The chorus repeats the simple and powerful phrase "I love you" as a reminder of his devotion to his partner.
Overall, "I Love You" is a beautiful tribute to the power of love and the joy that comes with being in a committed relationship. The lyrics are honest, heartfelt, and deeply romantic, making it an excellent addition to any love song playlist.
