Clocks
Coldplay Lyrics

The lights go out and I can't be saved
Tides that I tried to swim against
Have brought me down upon my knees
Oh, I beg, I beg and plead
Singin' come out of things un said
Shoot an apple off my head
And a trouble that can't be named
A tiger's waiting to be tamed, singin'

You are
You are

Confusion that never stops
Closing walls and ticking clocks
Gonna come back and take you home
I could not stop that you now know
Singin' come out upon my seas
Cursed missed opportunities
Am I a part of the cure
Or am I part of the disease? Singin'

You are
You are
You are
You are

You are
You are

And nothing else compares
Oh, no, nothing else compares
And nothing else compares

You are
You are

Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go

Neon Dreams

Coldplay appreciation (How I found Coldplay)

When I was a kid I had to babysit my little sister while mom was at work… we watched a movie but during a commercial break the trailer for a Peter Pan movie came on.

At this point I never heard of Coldplay…

“Clocks” played as the score to the trailer… I was obsessed and had a new mission to find out who this song belonged too

There was no Shazam at the time I had to keep my ears open for months I even hummed the piano riff everyday just to keep it fresh in my mind 🤣 I finally found them while watching tv show in Canada Much Music Countdown and this video was playing. I was so flipping happy haha and I dove into their discography.

I couldn’t describe why I fell in love with their music then but now I see that it mentally took me out of the worst years of my life and made me feel better when no one else could…

They were a great escape.

Clocks saved my childhood.

Just wanted to leave this story here instead of keeping it in my head.

Hope everyone’s having a blessed day 🧡

-Frank

I really can't understand the hate that Coldplay gets. Every single one of their songs is an absolute banger. I don't think they have one bad song

@Bluer than Xephos and there exists me who loves kpop, Coldplay, and imagine dragons. I can't even believe when someone says that Coldplay receives hate. There is nothing to hate in them. They were always gold. I'm seriously so blessed to be born in their era.

evans okis

Nop think so.anyway we're they living currently

Heavypower06

@Cringlez so in the uk there is a safety video for primary schools which explains that strangers can be dangerous and that you shouldn’t send inappropriate photos of yourself to them and at the end when the guy is looking at those images and smirking the opening of this song kicks in
