1 The drum & bass DJ Fresh (Dan Stein) is co-owner of Breakbeat Kaos and a prolific UK drum and bass producer. The Louder Songfacts reports that he teamed up with Kosheen vocalist Sian Evans for Louder, which was used as part of a Lucozade Lite advertising campaign in the UK and Ireland. The song was released on July 3, 2011 as a digital download and became his first UK #1 hit. Louder was the first ever UK dubstep No.1, and the follow-up single, "Hot Right Now", was the first drum and bass No.1.
In 2009 Knowledge Magazine said 'Perhaps DJ Fresh has been the biggest influence on drum and bass we've ever known'. DJ Fresh is one of the members of the Bad Company UK / )E|3( group who has gone on to release as a solo artist.

I agree with the peeps missing the DnB....Fresh has unfortunately said on Facebook that he doesn't care wot ppl think of his genre changing as of late.
This is not Drum and Bass, the BPM and beat is completely different
Personally I miss the good old Fresh sound like "Exhale", "X-Project", "Capture The Flag" etc...
Same with TC although he does seem to still produce DnB, these guys have been fundamental in the sound and direction of Drum and Bass and I hope they get back to what they're true original fans love about them.
I understand all the other people loving the sound now and saying not to listen to the negativity, but in fairness, you people although you are correct in saying it's a good sound etc, you are not original DJ Fresh fans most of you, and as Fresh has been going constant in the DnB scene since 1996, this is proven. And he has shaped the sound of DnB, he's a pioneer of sorts.
If this tune had been released by David Guetta or someone similar it would make perfect sense and I'm sure not upset anyone, but as people like me are true Fresh fans, and as a DJ and Producer myself I can say that Fresh has been a huge influence to DnB, it's a bit hard to deal with.
