Yesterday
Future looks tomorrow
Tomorrow
Well
The past...
Anyway, this is futura, prophecise the future
Yo what's up krush?
The lyrics of DJ Krush's song From Futura 2000 are laden with insight into the essence of time and its mutability. The opening lines seem to suggest an interest in the future, but the question that remains is why. While the future may be the focus of the lyrics, the singer acknowledges that it is rooted in the past. Perhaps the reference to yesterday is a way of establishing that the present moment is also shaped by the past. The future remains uncertain, but the singer is hopeful that it can be predicted or prophesized through the lens of Futura.
The title of the song hints at a collaboration with the legendary graffiti artist Futura 2000. The lyrics seem to be a nod to his style of painting, which is known for its futuristic themes and bright colors. The line "prophecise the future" could be seen as a call to artists to imagine a future that is both bright and inclusive. DJ Krush's relaxed beats and mellow instrumentals provide the perfect backdrop for Futura's lyrics, which are brimming with optimism and hope.
Overall, From Futura 2000 is a beautiful song that showcases the power of collaboration and the potential of art to inspire. From the opening lines that explore the essence of time to the hopeful insights of Futura, the song is a beautiful reminder that we shape the future through our imagination and creativity.
