Protect Your Mind
DJ Sakin & Friends Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Braveheart, you are my Braveheart,
Take me in your arms,
You are my Braveheart.

Fighting so we can be free,
Fighting for our dignity,
Fighting for the truth and then,
We can go and live again.

Fighting for the way that's right,
Fighting for our truth at night,
Fighting up until the dawn,
He won't stop until he's won.

This is where he's going to start,
This is my one true Braveheart.

Braveheart, you are my Braveheart,
Hold me in your arms,
You are my Braveheart,
Braveheart, you are my Braveheart,

Hold me in your arms,
You are my Braveheart.

I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, born and bred, I used to play this song while walking my dog up the mountain next to the kings palace. My dog is 14 now and he's not in a very good way, but I made a promise to him when I rescued him I would do anything and everything for him till the very, very end. I'm heartbroken. But I rescued that dog from certain death and have given the best life and will continue and this song not only reminds me of running up that hill looking over Edinburgh. I can't take him there anymore but I'll always have the memories. This is worse than certain family members passing
