(Did it)

I got this shit from the trap,
Few baggies, my pen, and my pad (few baggies)
I done got rich off of rap, you throw 'em
We sendin' 'em back (pop, pop, pop), that shit is a fact
My young boy ain't got no ID on 'em
He had to slip through the back (go in the back)
They took everything he had off his body
He thought he was lit 'cause he rap (take that off)
Gotta hustle, go get off your back
He broke, go get him a pack
I just blew 10 up in Saks (dimes)
Fuck cops, they kill if you black (fuck the cops)
You might get a deal if you nice (you might)
Gelato I'm smokin' to give you the feelin'
You feel when you feel on a flight
Light up a blunt, go wheelie that bike
(This is our life)

This a lifestyle that we cherish everyday
Take a risk to count this cash in every way
If you lucky, bitch, then you just might get saved
Only thing my bucket list is I get paid
Fuck the coppers, you can't stop us like a train (nah)
Like a doctor, I got meds to heal my pain
Push start on my big ol' sport, you think I race
White star shine on me in the dark inside my Wraith

Got a plain Patek Phillipe and a plain Richard Mille (yeah)
Can't explain this shit I see (explain)
Switchin' lanes in a new V (skrr)
I just slain on that record, I done made it out the streets
Gotta licence this industry, so for free, me and Dave East
My name look like water, two hundred sittin' on a plain tee (yeah)
Rich my persona, I bought your bitch a new Wrangler Jeep (yeah)
Keep that stick on me, 'cause if they play, we gon' play for keeps
Back to back Royces, me and me
We the champs that they envy (champs)

I'm a cold P-I-M-P (cold)
I got hoes in the Benz Jeep
I smoke Oprah Winfrey
While my bro pumpin' *NSYNC (white)
The gas the color purple, sellin' white-boy like Nowitzki (white)
The cars is foreign like Ginobili
Shots burn your chest like whiskey (pow)

This a lifestyle that we cherish everyday
Take a risk to count this cash in every way
If you lucky, bitch, then you just might get saved
Only thing my bucket list is I get paid
Fuck the coppers, you can't stop us like a train (nah)
Like a doctor, I got meds to heal my pain
Push start on my big ol' sport, you think I race
White star shine on me in the dark inside my Wraith

Popular nigga, I'm not tryna start, this is not the beginning
These nigga is broke, I forgot to forget it
Sand in my toes, bitch, I'm tropical livin'
I try not to pay no attention, they probably gon' hate 'til I'm finished
Fuck it, as long as they pay me with interest
Bonkers, now I jump out Ranges that's tinted
Smile at them niggas, they hate when you grinnin' (cheese)
I got a Patek that I put on everyday (everyday)
I just watched you eat that bitch, how you not gay? (how you not gay)
I'm at the gun range just to practice on my aim (practice aim) (pow, pow, pow)
Bitch this crip, watch how I get rich, Gunna know my game

Please make your choices
Yes, I'm goin' bonkers, you fuck with me
Once my mind made up, I'm pullin' up like the Grim Reaper
Since I like drippin', my swag is blue and that's all I see
Ain't no rap cappin', this lifestyle true, ain't no flaw in me

This a lifestyle that we cherish everyday
Take a risk to count this cash in every way
If you lucky, bitch, then you just might get saved
Only thing my bucket list is I get paid
Fuck the coppers, you can't stop us like a train (nah)
Like a doctor, I got meds to heal my pain

Push start on my big ol' sport, you think I race
White star shine on me in the dark inside my Wraith

Overall Meaning

In the first verse of Dave East's song Everyday, he begins by referencing his humble beginnings and how he started from selling drugs and writing his lyrics on the road. He emphasizes how he has become successful in the rap industry and how he and his crew send back any attacks thrown at them. The second half of the verse talks about a young boy who was robbed because he flashed his wealth but didn't have the identification to back it up. Dave East then switches the focus back on the importance of hustling, working hard, and investing in oneself. In the chorus, he talks about the lifestyle he and his crew live and how they will continue to do so as long as they get paid, regardless of the struggles they might face.

In the second verse, Dave East brags about his success and how he has made it out of the streets. He talks about his extensive collection of luxury watches and his cars, which include a white Wraith. He then switches his focus on his crew, how they are champions in their own right that others envy. He continues to brag about his success and prowess with women, smoking expensive weed while his friend pumps NSYNC in the background. He concludes by talking about his dedication to excellence and his commitment to his Crip gang.
