Dave Matthews also plays acoustic gigs with long time friend Tim Reynolds.
In recent years he has also shown his acting talents, most recently guesting as a savant pianist in the series 'House M.D.' and a non-speaking role as a homosexual fashion advisor in the Adam Sandler film Chuck and Larry. He was also In Don't Mess With the Zohan.

They plant a tree after every concert? Hmm…do you think maybe the carbons they use touring more than destroy that? Lets dispense of the myth that he is this peaceful loving whatever when his tours consitstnely make in the hundreds of millions. An..what he planted a tree and paid back for dumping shit on someobdoy? Which, come on, we all know they did before but didn’t get caught.
I am quite confident that I am correct on the information relating to the tour bus incident.
As for what you consider beautiful music I am not surprised. You are the demographic. You aren’t looking to think or receive any type of message. You simply want a generic love song or a generic broken hearted love song from a guy that has now been married for two decades.
Listen, I realize anybody can like what they want in music. But from an objective fact you see guys like Bob Dylan. There are literally millions of artists who cite him as the reason they ever played a guitar or for the writing they did. For example, that list includes, the rolling stones, Jimi Hendrix, Radiohead, neil young, tom petty, eric Clapton, pink Floyd, rush, DAVE MATTHEWS HIMSELF, and literally on and on and on and on. These artists literally say without bob Dylan I would never have wrote this or that.
Who the fuck does Dave Matthews influences musically? Nobody. There is no way around it he is a white preppy fad. Just the way it is. I am not criticizing gthat necessarily as when your kids your kids and there is nothing wrong with a little fun, even if it is hollow and shallow. But when you mature and and began to learn about music on your own you will find that dave Matthews is just a short notch ahead of people like miley cyrus.
There is no depth to this songs. The lyrics are not poetic at all. The love songs are as generic as they come…(crash into me in a boys dream??...celbreate we will cause life is short but sweet……..etc etc.
Further, there is little epoint discussing this with you because to you music is a matter of conveince not a passion. You settled on Dave, you didn’t go look and listen and find something on your own. You simply picked what was happening around you. That’s your business and right and I have no problem with it. My issues comes when you make isnanse statements about a cheesey pop band as if its fact. When I see people quote lyrics from loving wings as if anybody couldn’t write that. I have written far better songs then dave Matthews. Will I ever make millions off of them? No. Nor do I want to. You know why? Cause I write music for the sake of music not to cater to high school and college students. The second my music would become popular like that I would never, ever, ever play my guitar again.

Roi is one of those few musicians who aren’t on stage to prove anything. He didn’t care if anyone noticed him - he just played from his soul. Loud, quiet, technical, simple, it didn’t matter, so long as he played what he felt. Beautiful
