Sound and Vision
David Bowie Lyrics

Ah
Ah

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo

Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision?

Blue, blue, electric blue
That's the color of my room
Where I will live
Blue, blue

Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do, nothing to say
Blue, blue

I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude, over my head

Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision?

Palmit

[Chorus]
Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision?

[Verse]
Blue, blue, electric blue
That's the colour of my room
Where I will live
Blue, blue
Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to read, nothing to say
Blue, blue
I will sit right down
Waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing
Waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude
Over my head

[Chorus]
Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision?

this was the first song I played when I heard he died. it's not his most popular song, not even sure if it's my favorite, but there is something about it... it speaks the full range of human emotion, from depression and misery to joy and beauty... and beyond that, I think it shows how those feelings can all coexist at the same time in one person... life is hard and complicated but also incredibly beautiful

Agree ... its great to be able to play & sing his songs and thanks to YTube for giving me the channel under my picture icon ... Bowie fans are ace.

@Silvia Lumaca Are you sure about that? But people here are giving David Bowie credits with a very positive attitude about this song. I am little confused. He is not being one of my favourite artists, but I did not dislike him either.

Silvia Lumaca

Bowie at the time of this album was really taking a lot of drugs anyway
