Watching this video made me want to share my craziest Terraria RNG-sus moments.
1. Me grinding for vitamins with my friend and getting 2 crimson keys before getting 1 vitamins.
2. My friend and I grinding for slimy saddle mounts early game and getting 2 slime staffs before getting 1 slimy saddle.
3. My friend and I killing well over 50 mimics bed getting 1 titan glove.
4. My friend and I killing well over 15 duke fishrons before getting a razor blade typhoon or flarion (the 2 weapons we were grinding for)
5. My friend and I killing well over 25 moonlords before giving up because we didn’t get the stars wrath (the one weapon we needed for the zenith)
6. My friend and I killing well over 20 paladins before getting the paladins hammer
7. My friend and I killing well over 35 hallowed mimics before getting a Daedalus storm bo
Yes, these were all the same friend, and all of these moments were spread across 2 playthroughs.
My favorite is 8. Me getting the rod of discord from the first chaos elemental I killed in my own solo play through.

Gonna add a couple of things here that a lot are commenting about just to clear things up:
1. The tavernkeep spawns after the brain of cthulhu/eater of worlds has been defeated, I didn’t know that at the time but I definitely know it now (thanks for the 100 comments about it😝)
2. I kinda decided against hoiking for the most part as it seems a little exploitative and against the challenge, I wanted it to be as challenging as possible.
3. I don’t really know why I neglected fishing so much, I guess I wanted to challenge myself without fishing and I just don’t like fishing much lol.
4. Yes I technically broke vines, cobwebs and I think the cracked dungeon bricks, I didn’t consider them a part of the challenge and allowed myself to break them, same as plantera’s bulb and all background objects.
5. I did do this on normal mode, I regret this in hindsight and definitely should’ve done at least expert mode, I didn’t realise how easy normal mode is for me now😅

actually the chance for getting those 3 crimson keys is not just all of them added up, you multiply them by each other, but you got them from different enemies, so that has to be factored in as well
im not good at math so i cant tell you what the percentage is, but believe me, its a lot higher than 1/7500

@@AssortedMold268 You can solve it with a binomial distribution, just need to plug in the probability, number of trials, and number of successes. In this case, to have about a 1/7500 chance to get at least 3 crimson keys, you would need to kill 239 enemies.
