You're surrounded by an endless horizon of water and sky. There is nobody else around except you and Demise. You know that only one of you will make it out of this place alive. But before you begin the final battle, you take a moment to observe your surroundings and listen to Demise's monologue. There's a strange calm about this place, and yet you can never fully relax because you know it's only a matter of time until you must fight to the death. And this theme perfectly captures that strangely tranquil yet fiercely ominous feeling. You can feel the tension rising as the climactic battle approaches. As the song climbs, so too does your own resolve to face your destiny.

The atmosphere during this part is absolutely phenomenal. Precious few moments in video games have made me feel so invigorated on such a visceral level.

The final battle that is the first of several to come...

@thatjrpganimefanplayerjusi8003

It’s the first final climax of severals in a split of splits adult down fall and two child’s to come thanks OOT and Age of calamity second child split lol
and the time splits probably won’t be the last we see of this looking at you adult and downfall

Ps One more thing people wonder why we have splits except for Zelda OOA Well it’s very simple the reason OOA didn’t have any split is because Zelda wasn’t directly involved with that time traveling OOT and age of calamity totally TOTALLY! different story you add it all up to the beginning of the Zelda series it all makes sense thanks a lot skyward sword hilya Aka GODDESS OF TIME

@Yobyman

To think that in sealing away this darkness Hyrule was doomed to suffer through a cycle of destruction and war for eternity.
The only way the rise of ganon could have been prevented was to just let Demise destroy Hyrule if you really think about this.

Man the Zelda games story is more profound than it lets on...

@appeli3343

@@Yobyman i mean if he destroyed everything wouldnt there be nothing left

@Yobyman

@@appeli3343 Correct, that way hyrule would never have been doomed to suffer endless cycles of war. But that is the wrong way of looking at it in my eyes, it's better to die fighting and suffer through life than to never have lived at all.
