Nir Tibor was born on June 18, 1993 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He grew up largely in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood of the city. Lloyd learned how to play the trumpet at age 8 and taught himself to play the guitar at age 13. He attended the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts in Givatayim.
Lloyd released his first single, "Playa (Say That)", in mid-2015. Toward the end of 2015, he moved to Bangkok, Thailand where he stayed for a year. During his time in Bangkok, Lloyd focused exclusively on music and wrote 35 songs. After his year in Bangkok, Lloyd returned to Israel where he began releasing more music including the songs, "Snow White" and "Nevermind (Alright)". Lloyd remixed the latter song and released it as "Nevermind" in the winter of 2016. The remixed version quickly garnered success on Spotify, eventually peaking at number 4 on the Spotify Global Viral chart. It would eventually accumulate more than 200 million streams on Spotify and over 1.5 million Shazams. In June 2018, Time listed it as one of the "songs of summer".

To concentrate on songwriting and production?
Because that's exactly what our next guess did and his dedication has really paid off
His song "Nevermind" is a certified global hit and he makes
Here with his single, it's called "Nevermind", Dennis Lloyd
Life is changing
But I feel the same
A different kind of man
All the while I'm
Tryna feel the plan
Life is changing
But I feel the same
I wanted to arrive at the promised land
That fame, offered in exchange for hard work, dedication and perseverance
But for some reason
I have become discontent with my life
But why? I mean, I had everything I ever wanted but
Something was missing
It was my perspective (but I feel the same)
On what I thought I needed in order to be successful
And in order for you to understand my scope into fame
I first must give you a brief snippet
Of what I've gone through to get me here for you beautiful people
I am Dennis Lloyd
And this is my journey into figuring out why purpose will always supercede fame
And the valuable lessons I learned from being, well, almost famous
Life is changing
But I feel the same
Kinda lonely
A different kind of man
All the while I'm
Tryna feel the plan
Life is changing
But I feel the same
Life is changing
But I feel the same
Kinda lonely
A different kind of man
All the while I'm
Tryna feel the plan
Life is changing
But I feel the same
In the song "Changes" by Dennis Lloyd, the lyrics reflect the artist's introspection and contemplation of his journey towards fame and success. He expresses a sense of loneliness and a feeling of being "a different kind of man" despite the changing circumstances of his life.
The opening lines suggest that Dennis Lloyd made a significant geographical move, possibly leaving his home country, in order to focus on his music career. The line "To concentrate on songwriting and production" implies that he was determined to pursue his passion and put in the necessary effort to succeed. The mention of his hit song "Nevermind" indicates that his hard work has indeed paid off.
Through the repetition of the phrase "Life is changing, but I feel the same," Dennis Lloyd communicates a sense of internal consistency or a lack of fulfillment despite external accomplishments. He questions the purpose and meaning behind his pursuit of fame, realizing that there is a missing piece in his life. This introspection leads him to reevaluate his perspective on success, acknowledging that he was chasing fame as a marker of achievement but discovering that true purpose surpasses transient recognition.
The song hints at a personal transformation within Dennis Lloyd as he questions his previous understanding of success and reconsiders the value of fame. He suggests that his journey has taught him valuable lessons, and he expresses the intention to share those insights with his audience. Through this journey, he emphasizes that purpose and fulfillment ultimately hold more significance than fleeting fame.

Hey everyone! I am Jarell Howard Rochelle, the speaking artist featured on Dennis Lloyd's song "Changes." Like you all, I am greatly inspired and moved by the message purpose OVER fame (and Dennis does a great job of giving illustrating the sobering shallows of fame in this ENTIRE album!) If you would like to hear the full length speech on TedX you can click the link below! In the words of Mark Twain "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." Purpose OVER fame! God bless!
