The expectations for the third album increased to a high level when the release date got closer. The hype around the band was enormous. And just before the third album´s release, Finnish most popular music show "Levyraati" broadcasted their brand new video of the song Read My Scars, also released as a single (staying nine weeks on the single chart, topping at number three). Welcome to my world of hate,
Damnation of my soul
Here we could be together
With my dreams of death, you know!
Tell me what you feel
My queen of entity
Welcome...
Welcome to this bitter
State of my mind
I am dying dream
This is my imitation of life
Replica of sanity, yeah!
Tell me what you feel
My queen of entity
This isn't love,
It's something else
Still you can't see
Why my heart belongs to you
With all it's secrecies
But I hold the key just one more time
And I open myself for you
But I hold the key just one more time
I would love to kill myself for... you.
Tell me what you feel
My queen of entity
This isn't love,
It's something else
Still you can't see
Why my heart belongs to you
With all it's secrecies
But I hold the key just one more time
And I open myself for you
But I hold the key just one more time
I would love to kill myself for you, queen of entity!
The song "Queen of Entity" by Diablo is a dark and intense expression of someone's twisted and obsessive love towards a mysterious and powerful woman, referred to as the "queen of entity". The lyrics are filled with imagery of hate, damnation, death, and insanity, indicating that the singer is deeply disturbed and desperate in his emotions. He welcomes the queen of entity to his world, where he dreams of death and longs for her to understand and reciprocate his feelings.
The singer's affection towards the queen of entity is not portrayed as a typical romance or even love, but rather as something unexplainable and dark. He claims that he holds the key to his heart's secrets and would even kill himself for her, further emphasizing the unhealthy and irrational nature of his emotions. The repetition of the chorus, with the singer asking the queen of entity to tell him what she feels, suggests that he is unsure if his love is returned or if he is simply delusional.
Overall, "Queen of Entity" can be interpreted as a cautionary tale of the dangers of obsession and how it can warp one's perception of love and reality.
