Sweet Caroline
Diamond Neil Lyrics

But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who'd have believed you'd come along
Hands, touching hands
Reaching out, touching me, touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night and it don't seem so lonely
We filled it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when holding you
One, touching one
Reaching out, touching me, touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh no, no
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline
I believe they never could
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
The song "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond is a classic pop and rock song that was released in 1969. The song is a nostalgic tribute to a lost love, and it is an ode to the feelings of joy and companionship brought on by shared experiences. In the first verse, Neil Diamond sets the scene by establishing the mystery of the relationship; he doesn't know how it began, but he knows that it is growing stronger. He then follows up by describing the beginning of the relationship in greater detail, by saying that it occurred during the transition from spring to summer.
The chorus of the song is an expression of joy, as Diamond proclaims his happiness with his current companion, Caroline. He believes that he has found his soulmate, and that their relationship is the epitome of good times. The second verse reflects on the current moment, with Diamond stating that he and Caroline have spent the night together, creating new memories and experiences. He concludes by declaring that his relationship with Caroline has made all of his pain disappear, and that there is no other person that he would rather be with.
Overall, "Sweet Caroline" is an uplifting and nostalgic song that encapsulates the feeling of falling in love and the joy that comes from shared experiences with a loved one.

My Dad is well into his Alzheimer's disease and his memory comes and goes now. I'm 52. My dad was a D.J. for many years and a vinyl records collection worth tens of thousands. All of the album's from artists like Beatles, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, and the blue jeans king 👖himself ⭐NIEL DIAMOND⭐ I grew up replaying September Morn and Tap Root Manuscript, and Sweet Caroline.
Anyway, I am so grateful for these videos because when I send one every few days it gives him lucid moments and I call just after he watches and talk with about a special memory that goes with each one. Thanks for the music and the memories and most of all... Thanks for a little extra time with my dad.

Not to mean I don't respect your sad time, but your parents didn't want you to know about them.

My grandma loved Neil Diamond.
When my grandma died, I got all of her CDs and Vinyls, which included almost all of Neil Diamonds discography.
Now, my grandmas love of Neil Diamond lives on through me.
I love you grandma, rest in peace.

I am sure she will always be singing this song with you and not at you because she loves you.
