Two years later, and a little distant from TV, he launched his second album called "Tratar de estar mejor" which received 5 platinum albums in Argentina and gold and platinum albums in other Latin American countries. This album launched Torres to the international scene.
In 1996, the Italian producer Ceso Valli produced Torres' third album, "Luna Nueva", and months later Diego started touring with his band all across Latin America, United States, and Spain. The album went on sale, soon becoming gold and quickly being rewarded with the platinum in Argentina.
In 1999, he recorded his fourth album called "Tal Cual Es", produced by Cachorro López. This album showed Diego's talent and creativity to compose and mix different Latin sounds, such as flamenco guitars as well as various other tropical sounds.
His next album was named "Un Mundo Diferente" which was recorded in the second half of 2001 in Buenos Aires and Miami. This album presents an interesting variety of styles and merges with a delicate harmony of several Latin rhythm styles.
2004 brought a new challenge to Diego: the possibility of recording an MTV Unplugged, which would be aired in the MTV networks of Brazil, Latin America, Spain and United States. The reconversion of the acoustical in some of his hits along with the presentation of his new themes are part of this show, which is also produced on CD and DVD.
Torres' newest album, "Andando" has been released in all parts of the world.

Siempre vestida para matar
No puedes defenderte sólo suspirar
No te preocupes
Ella sabe provocar
Porque es peligrosa
Y de nada sirve enamorarla
Siempre guardará sus cartas
Para una partida más
Sus ojos negros (sus ojos negros)
Sus ojos negros
Sus ojos negros (sus ojos negros)
Sus ojos negros (sus ojos negros)
The song is called Ojos Negros which translates to "black eyes" in English, and it is sung by Argentine artist Diego Torres. The lyrics describe a beautiful and dangerous woman who captures the attention of all men around her. She is irresistible and seductive, but also lethal and capable of causing heartbreak. The opening lines say that when she walks by, dressed to kill, men cannot help but sigh in admiration. She is the object of desire and fantasy, but also a potential threat to those who get too close.
As the song progresses, the lyrics warn of her power to intoxicate and entice. She dances with abandon and toys with her body, but those who try to approach her may get burned by her fire. She knows how to provoke and how to hurt, and her black eyes betray her dangerous nature. The chorus repeats that she can kill with love and that she is both sweet and poisonous. The verses continue with more warnings about her powers and her unwillingness to be conquered. She is as strong as a drink and as mesmerizing as a siren, and her eyes cast a spell that cannot be resisted.
Overall, the song Ojos Negros is a cautionary tale about an irresistible but dangerous woman who can lure men to their demise. The lyrics describe the paradoxical nature of love and attraction, where the same qualities that make a person desirable also make them unpredictable and dangerous. Diego Torres sings with a mixture of admiration and fear, warning his listeners not to fall under her spell.
