Vincent Valentine basszusgitáros épp a WC-n ülve szülte meg azt az ideát, aminek hatására létrehozta a zenekart. Ez nem volt más, mint az, hogy nincs szükség saját dalokra, elég régi beat, pop és disco slágereket addig soha nem hallott formában, könnyű party rock stílusban újraéleszteni, sok esetben magyar, de ironikus, sajátos humorú szövegekkel és mindezt, polgárpukkasztó show elemekkel és tradicionális Glam Rock ábrázattal, kosztümökkel színpadra vinni. A zenekar nevét a Ford Fairlane kalandjai című kultuszfilmből választották.
A korai időkben azonban nem állt szóba velük semmilyen lemezkiadó, a hatalmas közönségsikerek ellenére
sem, köszönhetően kétes hírüknek és a rengeteg botránynak, amit addigra elkövettek. Ez a periódus 2001-ben ért véget, amikor megjelent a Számcsengő System című maxi Cd és videoklip egy kis független kiadó a Premier Art Records gondozásában, melyet 2002 tavaszán az első Disco Accident - The Greatest Hits című album követett. Ez az album összefoglalta a zenekar első 6 évének legnagyobb koncert sikereit. Ezután rengeteg koncerten és több külföldi turnén vettek részt, majd 2004-ben elkezdődtek az új album munkálatai, melyre végre túlnyomórészt már saját dalokkal készülhettek.
2005 tavaszán új szerződést írtak alá a Magneoton/Mton (Warner Music Hungary) lemez kiadóval. Nyár elején megjelent a Pláza Angyal című maxi Cd, ami rendszeres vendége lett a hazai kereskedelmi rádiók kívánságműsorainak és a Viva Tv is előszeretettel játszotta a dalhoz készült videoklipet. 2005 októberében pedig megjelent a zenekar második Ah.Merica című albuma, melyen a mindössze 2 feldolgozás mellett 11 saját dal szerepel. A fiúk újra stúdióba vonultak, hogy rögzítsék az új, sorrendben harmadik albumukat, ami várhatóan, még idén megjelenik.
