There are a number of truly superb female vocalists who do this Scottish folk ballad with verve and deep-seated emotion, but although I myself listen almost exclusively to female vocalists and covers, no one really does this like Doug or 'Let Her Go' like Passenger. The original artists often invest themselves in a work of art that cannot be imitated well, one basis for the concept of copyright. J

Donna, everytime I hear the song Caledonia it reminds me of my mother and father I had this played at my parents this memorial service when they passed away three years ago and everytime I hear it I start crying like a baby because I'm part Irish and you have such a beautiful voice and you singing with such beauty like an angel from heaven God bless you Donna
