Their style was based on an acoustic and simple pop-rock with a touch of rockabilly in great contrast with the more radical rock played in the area at the time. After being hired by 'Grabaciones Accidentales, S.A.' they contributed with two songs (Mi Amor and Bésame Mucho) to the new bands compilation La única alternativa (The Only Alternative).
In 1985 they recorded their first album, Por Tierras Escocesas (Around Scottish Lands), and Canciones (Songs) a year later, both produced by Paco Trinidad. The songs were immediately successful and gave them big popularity. After even more successful El Grito del Tiempo (The Cry of Time, 1984) and Grabaciones Olvidadas (Forgotten Recordings, a compilation of B-Sides, 1989) they became a duo and recorded the double album Autobiografía (Autobiography), with collaborations by Black and Sam Brown among others. They later also had several hits such as "Esos Ojos Negros" ("Those Black Eyes"). They finally came to a close as a band with their final cd, "Crepúsculo y Crudités" (Sunset and Crudités [1]) which was more orchestrated and softer than their older music.
Their most known hit is "En Algún Lugar" ("In Some Place"). The song was initially featured in Canciones, but it was the remix included in El Grito del Tiempo that became widely popular.
Capricornio
Duncan Dhu Lyrics

Es mi isla interior
No me iría allí sin ti
Ni jamás lo pensé
En tu risa se oye el mar
No parece un mal lugar
No tiene dirección
Sin una invitación
A no salir ya más
El diario y un café
Y tus besos después
Una pieza lenta que
Algún día bailé
Todo esto y mucho más
En mi feudo personal
No habrá lugar mejor
No busques mucho más
Elige un buen rincón
Y olvida lo demás
No mires más allá
No está en mitad del mar
Corónate y serás
Tu rey particular
The song Capricornio by Duncan Dhu talks about a personal paradise called Capricornio that the singer has created. Capricornio is described as an inner island that is only accessible with an invitation from the person who created it. The place is portrayed as a serene haven where one can avoid the chaos of the outside world. The lyrics also suggest that the person who created Capricornio would not go there without the presence of their loved one.
The song emphasizes the importance of finding inner peace and serenity. The singer describes Capricornio as a place where they can forget all their worries and be content with just the simple things in life such as reading a newspaper, sipping coffee, and sharing intimate moments with a loved one. The lyrics encourage the listener to find their own personal paradise and make it their own kingdom.
Overall, Capricornio is a metaphor for finding inner peace and creating a sanctuary for both the self and loved ones. The song emphasizes the importance of finding solace in one’s own space and taking control of one’s life.
