Remember dem day in Nairobi
Life was so nice just hard to see
I felt the rain coming straight from the sky
No more pain everything rules by
Music would play all night
If you love reggae music put your hands up high
No matter whether you come from black or white
Some of dem see some of den blind
While de poeple in top say high
Jah jah is the way umoja stay pride
I know kawangwari used to be so rough
Kona mbaya was the place that was so tough
Dandora mash Babylon inna di street
KOpa lefty would play reggae music all night
Kiroshuapande will play it twice
Kamande made the people feel so nice
The lyrics to Dynamq's song Nairobi reminisce about the good old days in Nairobi. The artist starts by asking his listeners to remember the days in Nairobi when life was so nice, but hard to see. He then talks about how he felt the rain coming straight from the sky, indicating that there was something magical about the city. He further says that there was no more pain, as everything was ruled by music.
The song goes on to talk about how music would play all night, especially reggae music. The artist invites his listeners to put their hands up high if they love reggae music, indicating that reggae was a significant part of the Nairobi music scene. The artist acknowledges that there was discrimination in the city, with some people seeing and others being blind to it. He emphasizes that Jah Jah is the way, and Umoja (meaning unity in Swahili) is the key to staying proud.
The lyrics further talk about specific areas in Nairobi and the role they played in the music scene. Kawangwari used to be rough, Kona Mbaya was tough, Dandora had Mash Babylon in the streets, and Kopa Lefty would play reggae music all night while Kiroshuapande would play it twice. Kamande made the people feel so nice, indicating that these personalities were key players in the music scene and were integral in making Nairobi a vibrant musical city.

After the 7 weeks of the spring harvest, the next day, the 50th day, is Pentecost. This day is also the eighth day of the seventh week. This 8th and 50th day combination pictures the first resurrection when the saints will be raised from the dead and made immortal (1Corinthians 15:20 - 23, John 3:3 - 12, Revelation 20:4 - 6). After the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles there is an 8th day, called the Last Great Day.
