All The Way
Ed Robinson Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's no good unless he loves you, all the way
Happy to be near you
When you need someone to cheer you, all the way
Taller than the tallest tree is
That's how it's got to feel
Deeper than the deep blue see is
When somebody needs you
It's no good unless he needs you, all the way
Through the good or lean years
And for all the in between years, come what may
Who know where the road will lead us
Only a fool would say
But if you'll let me love you
It's for sure I'm gonna love you, all the way
All the way
The lyrics of "All The Way" by Ed Robinson express the intensity and depth of true love. The song talks about how love can be challenging and uncertain, but when it is real, it is unconditional, taking one through every season of life. Robinson compares the heights of love to being taller than the tallest tree and deeper than the deep blue sea. Love is not just about being happy with someone, but it's also about being willing to be there for them in difficult times as well. Robinson emphasizes the importance of being loved and needed all the way, without any reservations or doubts.
The singer also acknowledges that the journey of love can be unpredictable and lead to different paths. However, he promises to love the person he's singing to all the way, no matter where life takes them. The song is a beautiful display of commitment and a testament to the fact that when one finds true love, they should hold onto it and cherish it forever.
